The boy is a proper goal scorer and you boys are now starting to see this for yourselves.
David Goodwillie he does what he wants
He came good just as people were starting to doubt whether he was worth the money. Good timing.
He's worth the money mate. He's only 22 ffs
Unlucky for him he's only got 2 more games and back on the bench. I can't see Kean playing Yakuba and Goodwillie
Still dubvious for me but he has desire and instinct in bucket loads. I'm off the opinion that if he scores who gives a **** about anything else. Whether his overall game is strong enough to get him a decent run in the team remains to be seen.
Understandably there is no chance that Goodie will be playing once the Yak is back. That is fair considering the number of goals Yakubu has scored, however hopefully Goodie gets plenty of chances to continue his progress.
Hope you guys stay up
I'd love it if we were strong enough to play both. Goodwillie would really benefit from feeding off the Yak's strength.

Not for me don't get me wrong i like goodwillie but is not the right type of striker for Yakuba ,Yakuba needs a partner who can do all his running for him
Can Goodwillie not do that? He's worked his socks off in recent games. Personally though I don't understand our fans obsession with playing 4-4-2. We're scoring more than enough goals as it is but are conceeding too many, where's the need to switch to a formation thats even more attacking and will leave our defence even more exposed?
Ineed b&whs - I would suggest that with the Yak as a strong target man we should be utilising an 'attacking' trio of say Hoillet, Dunn, Rochina anchored by a strong defense and midfield. Only one issue with that....being N'zonzi and Pedersen would not be strong enough in the centre, especially with midfielders Lowe and Ollson playing back in defense. Change Rochina for Vuckevic (or Lowe if we ever buy a fullback) might give better steel across the midfield without sacrificing too much attacking ambition.
