He shoulda scored another 1 or 2.

He misses too many chances.

No way does he deserve that salary on today's performance. Has a sprinters speed, but his brain can't keep up with his legs I'm afraid. Just clueless one on one. Also for a massive black guy it is very easy to shrug him off. Doesn't win headers either, should do better with his height. But all in all I'd rather have him than not. In a few years time he can be another Drogba for us.

He should have had a hat trick today, his balance when he runs with the ball is dreadful

Don't think he should be earning that much yet but then again should Rooney be on £250,000?

He lacks composure still. It's a typical English trait really. Until he sorts that side of his game out he'll remain overrated.

On another note AOC should be in the England squad.

Yeah, I fully agree. I said so on the old 606. But he needs to be more clinical.

A 19 year old kid leading the line for Utd is impressive. He will only get better. Everyone can't be Messi.

Lol 60000 is not even close. Does anyone think balo is on less than 60000? Hernandez? Berba? Owen? Giggs? Scholes?

He is more useful to us than all those players. He basically makes our team hum by the way he stretches teams. Let us not underprice a player who is integral to our future. We didnt pay a transfer fee for him, agent fees, sign on fees. At this moment is our 3rd or 4th most important player and if he continues at the rate he is going, could very well become indispensable. Personally he already is.

I am not saying he has nothing to offer, but mistakes started to creep in. I was watching him closely and he had too many misplaced passes. Defensively he is too easy to beat and Carrick carried him on that part.

I agree. But I'll judge him next season.

He's a good young player, he's only 20 and he isn't going to be the finished article yet is he? He isn't all pace and power that's just a lazy thing to say in my opinion, he's got a good touch, his movement is fantastic, he holds the ball up quite well, could do with a bit of improvement which will come in time and he grabs the odd goal, very good player

Oh and just for the record, this myth that Andy Cole needed 5 chances to score is a load of bull! people need to watch the game and understand it and not just get their opinions from (some of) the over paid dossers on Sky, ITV & the beeb.

Bruceandpally i complete agree.

Oh and the only reason the media used to say that about Andy Cole was to stop him starting for England imho.

On Wikipedia it says he's 21. I've heard one person on here say he's 19, and another say 20. Which is it?

Exactly, we don't want Danny falling all over the pitch with minimal or no contact like a 5 year old throwing a temper tantrum in the shops
