I got Messi (the in form 96/100 one) for 387,000. His usual value is something like 3million but the idiots I was bidding for him with thought otherwise.

Bargain signings ahoy:

Johnny Russell: Got 3 in 4 from left wing in the Europa League and 1 from 4 in the Prem when he's mainly a sub. Lightning quick and good dribbled,

Shane Long: Got 8 in 6 premier league games and 1 in 1 Europa League game. Absolutely awesome striker.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic: Got 5 in 8 in the Premier League and 1 in 3 in the EL. Powerful CDM with a wicked shot!

My key players this season so far have been Handanovic, Long, Kuzmanovic, Jones and Isco.

My next job is to sort out the back 5. The only player I really like is Maggio. He's been injured for ages though so signed Adriano from Barcelona as cover, he'll go in at left back, just need two new CBs.

Thinking Kjaer for one of them.

For the new keeper I think it'll be Diego Alves from Valencia.

My team has also changed. Promoted two youth players, one Chinese and one English, both defenders and both over 70 OVR with potential above 80. Man Mao especially is great, came out the academy at 70 OVR and with a price tag of 12.5 million!
