I suppose, judgement will be made when it becomes apparent who we are bringing in, but the track record in that areas not brilliant is it?

I was in the Pavillion on Saturday and my view was that Parker stated is he didn't know anything about what Howson had been offerred, but understand he had been offered a new contract. He also stated that Howson was told by Grayson the club had accepted an offer that had been made on the Monday. It had come as a surprise and he was expecting to be at the club.

Yes Howson might not have wanted to go, but he also could still sit on his contract if he wanted. He hasn't been forced out of the club because you can't make a player sign for another club.

WW, the employer wanted him to sign a new contract. When that wasn't happening they have decided to take an offer, which probably came as a bit of a surprise as he's injured. What I was saying though is Howson could easily of waited until the summer to see if someone else came in for him. Plus without a fee he could say give me an extra £1m over say a 4 year contract.

LIW, he knows like the fans we haven't performed this season. I'm surprised how were hanging on to the play offs. If we actually did start to come to form we could be in for a pleasent surprise. Their again.............
