Is José big enough for the spurs job ?? He will need a transfer budget of at least 200 M .

Andy carrot "Spurs aren't big enough to attract Mourinho and don't have enough money which is the other thing he is attracted to"

err yes we are, if a club like chelsea who are no bigger than us apart from their wallet can attract him then so can we. Mourinho has mentioned spurs as one of the clubs he would love to manage one day in an interview a few years back so this kind of blows your comment out the water mate

No you aren't. Chelsea attracted him with money like i said. Spurs do not have that. Find me the quotes please

Found it don't worry. He's off to Everton

Why thank you Andy carrot..........No mention of your club Newcastle though ...They are not in that elite group of clubs

He almost joined our club as assistant to Sir Bobby to then take up the role as manager once SBR was done but Freddy Shepperd blocked it .

And yes we are, Mourinho is no idiot and he knows spurs are a very big club with fantastic history and massive potential aswell. We have always been the sleeping giant in the prem era. You only have to look at our history and trophy cabinet to know we are a big club..........your club Newcaslte though, when was the last trophy you won?

Interesting stuff there - apparently we were going to match Mourinho's Chelsea wages, indirectly earning the Special One another £10m in payoff payments to ensure that he didnt!

You're not that big. Spurs fans delude themselves to the size of their club. Like Newcastle who i did not once say anything about until you started talking about them. Sleeping giant? Surely Liverpool no? Liverpool Man U biggest clubs in England then Arsenal.

posted on 24/1/12

Everton historically are a very big club aswell, they might not have the lure and attraction of spurs but mourinho knows his football and the clubs he has mentioned are all the top clubs in england.....like i said, no mention of Newcastle

posted on 24/1/12

If this was on the Newcastle board and we were saying could we attract Mourinho your points would be valid. It isn't they aren't

posted on 24/1/12

Please, we're both big clubs.. does it matter?

We're trying to get Mourinho back to England here!

I didn't say we were bigger than United or Liverpool, i just disagree completely with your comments about "mourinho being to big for spurs" and i blew your comments out the water with proof from the main man himself claiming spurs would be a club he would consider. Spurs are a very big supported club and our stadium size dosen't reflect the size of our support. Put spurs in a 56,000 seater and you will see sell outs every game
