I don't think the "No-one likes us" is true anymore. many people admire the way MK Dons play now especially the ones who win or get a point because Robinson won't vary the style of play.

Ok - fair point Bill.

...and what do you think about the singing?

Sounded good at Loftus Road

The drummer needs some more support - club should give him and 2 or three others (who would be the brass section) - free season tickets and away trips on the proviso they provide the terrace music for the cowshed (and others) to sing with..........now there's a thought and yes we were good at loftus rd

I'm mates with our drummer and go to most away games with him, it isn't always up to him you know, he goes every away game too, but it isn't always up to him to get the atmosphere going.

I'd happily drum with him as I know how to play the snare drum but I'm not into copying Stevenage with the brass drums etc....I don't blame the guy for not drumming fast enough because our home atmosphere is dreadful and barely anyone joins in, I've been on the drum at home against Nantwich and nobody joined in so can't blame him.
Away from home he never stops and creates a great atmosphere.

Quite a few football fans have commented that they like the MK Dons style of play and see no merit in keeping harping back to issues in the past which didn't affect them, preferring to get on with watching the football.

They're the minority.

No most foortball fans don't really care, its a good topic for a bit of banter but that is about it.

Keep telling yourself that.

Most football fans only care about their own club and couldn't give a fig about Mk Dons; Wimbledon FC and/or AFC Wimbledon.

I'm sure you are right, I bet all the Arsenal fans are not really bothered they haven't won a trophy in 6 years, all they really want is MK Dons to drop the Dons and then everything will be alright.

I am sure I heard the Brighton fans chant "We don't care we got beat 6-1, as long as MK Dons change their name"

posted on 21/2/12

Why shouldn't you drop the Dons? As if not earning your place was bad enough, you have to assume you're also the same club

Are the same club, and why should MK Dons drop the Dons, none of the QPR players actually work in Queens Park, but no-one is saying they should drop the Rangers tag

posted on 22/2/12

The same as what? You didn't exist prior to formation. Tag? It's part of their name, they didn't take it from another club.

Neither did MK Dons, they retained that part of the name when they changed it from Wimbledon FC to MK Dons FC or do you think the team playing at Kings Meadow is called AFC Wimble?

posted on 26/2/12

MK Dons did take it from another club. Needs to be dropped.
