I doubt if Redknapp ever saw Charlton play. Maybe thats why he never selected him ? If you asked Harry his team, Charlton would no doubt be in it.
Maybe Redknapp was selecting just Liverpool players.
Lets be perfectly honest here, if you were going to select the best GB team of all time Gerrard and Souness would not be in it.
Now Kenny might and also Ian Rush. Possibly Hansen.
I will have a go and try to be as unbiased as I can.
Pat Jennings
Mick Mills Alan Hansen Mark Lawrenson Kenny Sansome
George Best Bryan Robson Bobby Charlton Ryan Giggs
Kenny Dalglish Ian Rush.
The thing is if you asked me to do it again next week I would probably come up with another list of players.

Thats a very good side, you're right though really hard thing to do you could make 10 top sides without much hassle.

Add Sir Stanley Matthews and Kevin Keegan to the list. So many great players.
I also saw the article and the player no-one else selected was Paul Scholes, yet on these sites these Mancs will always say that he's better than Gerrard.
Glad to see that Dalglish was in 95% of the people's list.
There's probably some player from the 1930's who should be a nailed on starter.
A-l-b-e-r-t ................Albert Stubbins is the one for me!
As much as it sticks in my throat.......cough splutter.......wheeezee......Dixie Dean! There I said it.

Duncan Edwards, another who was rated as the best, by the best.
You could have plenty.
