That match will start around 8.30am (UK time). It will be the first match in the evening session on Rod Laver Arena.

Strange, I could've sworn it was meant to start at 9.30 OZ time.
I looked at the schedule last night during Murray's match and the women were supposed to start at 3.30.
Very interesting.
I wonder what brought the change

alright nole? may the best man win on friday and lord may it be Andy lol

I don't like the semis being on different days to the other. And it's always Federer that gets the extra days rest. Why can't they schedule it like SW19!

Nole, how do you think Andy will fare this time against your man? Im not reading too much into Novaks exhausted look?

im going for a Rafa vs Murray final?

logie much as i'm a murray fan like yourself. andy got the extra days rest in 2010 against fed. maybe 3 days between matches is too much. i think possibly 48 hours rest is just right

As soon as i said it i remembered that. I just remember Fed getting the extra day at the USO final! e does tend to get the luck more than no though.

your right there. How do you see Andy doing on Friday? i must admit, Novak is looking very good?

tbh mate with the times of the matches i've only really managed to catch andy's matches. i'm self employed so can give myself a bit of leeway with start times. got up at half 3 this morning and back to bed after andy's match finished for a couple of hours.

andy is playing great, i like the self control he is showing and therefore not giving negative signals to his opponent. he has to up his service percentage quite a bit though. that was almost shambolic at times last night., novak will rightfully start favourite but Andy is a far far better opponent than nole has played to date.

i'll let my heart rule my head and say andy in 4

Lucky you getting to go back to bed! I was up at 5am, caught up on the sky+.

Did you catch the end of the novak match today, he looked exhausted. Not sure if we can read anything into it?

i'm quite certain there is a problem there. i respect novak and like the guy., if andy wasn't my countryman he's the player i'd follow most.
he's come out and said he can hardly breathe. probably not a thing he should have let slip ahead of the semi but i believe totally he was telling the truth. Andy has to turn this if possible into a real hard war of atrition. get those nostrils of nole's filled to bursting point.

andy's forehand is going to be vital in this. they're equally as strong, possibly andy slightly ahead in the backhand side of the court. if he can negate noles forehand and impose himself on the edge of the baseline, allied to serving well i can definitely see our man coming out on top

Your right, he is a likable guy. He has had problems with his breathing in the past, which i thought was now sorted out? He has been known before to use gamesmanship, the cynic in e tells me this is what this is?

As for Andy, he really needs to control the baseline, try and rush Novak a little, get him moving (which can be dangerous in its self)

He needs to take him into the trenches, let Novak now he is in a war, hopefully he may then wilt?
