January Transfer Window <erm>

If Man City didn't inflate his wages he'd be sold and Mancini would have a transfer budget but they did inflate it and brought the problem among themselves.

I've just signed a Tuna mayo baguette and it's about to enter my gob any moment. There's talk of a Cheese and Onion Real McCoys following soon, but those are just rumours at the moment.

------------------------

A hostile bid has apparently been made for the Cheese and Onion McCoys by wealthy Russian club Lokomotiv Munchalotovcrisps.

DEADLINE DAY MADNESS

They might as well just make the window 1 week long, the first 3 weeks are...well pointless

------------------------

Make it 1 day, force everyone to Wembley and have it conducted on the pitch, have interviewers (grand prix style) walking around talking to players/managers/chairman. Sell tickets so fans can watch from the stands.

Its only a month long so press and Sky Sports News can milk it for everything its worth, why not shorten it and sell tickets for it.

I agree, I week transfer window There' prob more action on BBC 3 in those other 3 weeks (has anyone ever watched this channel btw?)

Its good if both teams have agreed terms before hand and then obviously as soon as the window opens you can complete the deal but that rarely happens.

The thing which hinders this window badly compared to the summer is no club wants to let their best players go in the middle of the season which obviously halts the majority of teams from doing business.

E.g. we all want Remy, Samba etc. but their respective teams won't let them go now. Same if someone wanted Modric or Bale now we would be going mad if we were to let them go in January

BBC3 is one of the best channels Teddy

31 Moments can we have a vote on that please!

Well lets hope that Pav and Gio are leaving, that could bring in £15 million to spend

@ Oh Teddy Teddy

Family Guy, American Dad.

Other than that no, it sometimes strikes me as the channel for cha(v)s (the actual kind, not the Chelsea kind

I signed Alan Smith on FM12 last night for Fulham

Gaz - Yeah fair point on teams not wanting to lose their players, but when has that stopped big moves in January in the past? Money is key, if a good offer comes in and the team needs the money...SELL

The only early deal we have done was with Modric

I don't think I've ever seen BBC 3. Or even BBC 4

Seriously on a striker signing, the only one I'd take risk on is Denba Ba. He may have glass knees, but they don't look like going anytime soon

No offence RRP - Didn't mean to call you a ch(a)v, I mostly get my TV online so don't watch much TV (I work nights so miss most things, online is more conveniant (until they crack down on the legal side of things anyway). Everytime I turn on BBC3 though its either cartoons (which I love) or some scu(m)my looking girl arguing about something equally scu(m)my.
