Will they be as big as Chelsea and Arsenal someday?
Smaller.
3 prems to none.
Nuff said
They can never be as big as Chelsea when Abramovich is there, Chelsea will always have a fanancial advantage.
But at the minute Spurs have a far better squad and manager than Chelsea.
At the minute Arsenal have a manager who has lost the plot and their sqaud is poor bar RVP and Vermaelen.
Danny Blanchflower might have a thingy or four to say about this....
But you do agree that they are growing, maybe a little too fast for comfort

They are a selling club
1 season in how many years that they are above us in the league and they are suddenly a bigger club???
let me put this to you...
were Burnley a bigger club than Newcastle in 2010?
NO! it will take a good few years of spurs finishing ahead of Chelsea before they are the bigger club!
Would it be totally absurd if I predict that Spurs could win the league in the next 10 years and or make it to the last four of the cl in the next 20 yrs? Considering their growth rate.

could say the same for Swansea!
yes it is entirely possible in the next 10-20 years but this year? next year? NO not a chance!
I do not think either Chelsea or Arsenal should be complacent about Spurs. It may be short term, but Spurs got in the Champs League where they did well on a lowish wage bill and without any previous Champs League money to assist them.
@gunnerbegood I agree with you
one sec Mr capello???????
i thought you were banned and changed your name?
I apologized for writing an unacceptable article and was pardoned, I am back now and felt its more respectable to use my real name, to save srf the trouble of trying to detect me...
Anyway I am really worried about Spurs growth, are you?
is it because people were saying they liked mr. capello better yesterday?
You can't extrapolate trends like this. The form of players and fortune of clubs are ever changing, so predictions are often incorrect.
oh goosh, this article is not about me, I didn't read anywhere where people said they liked Mr. Capello better, I am not even sure anyone likes me in here, except maybe the Mr. Chelsea and Tbk. But back to the article plz, the admins don't like this sort of conversation, I could get banned.
Are worried about Spurs too?
Mr. Capello - Lampard, an English soccer legend...
So my question is; are Spurs as big as Chelsea now or still smaller?
Chelsea despite throwing a billion pounds at the project have in fact still won less trophies than Spurs.
So in answer to your question no Chelsea are still not quite as big a club as Spurs, and with Spurs liable to be CL contenders for the foreseeable future, I doubt they ever will be.

Zirkov, I am assuming all things being equal and Spurs continue to grow and score more great goals and Chelsea continue an endless transition with Avb and Torres
41 goals Spurs
40 goals Chelsea
Some growth they have
I think any club that has to give a joint statement with another club about racial overtones at a football match, simply cannot be taken seriously.
Despite the money, still got your 1970s neandrathals.
It's all tea parties at the Lane
Oh dear Sandy, on course for second Champions League appearance, winners of two trophies in past 20 years and third in the prem..... Huge club, massive ha ha.
You were a big club forty years ago, bar cup runs you've flattered to decieve and occasionally sank into mediocrity. Well done for the resurgence but can the big club nonsense until you win something.
Anyway I am really worried about Spurs growth, are you
nope not really. as i say they may well finish above us this season but it will not be prolonged.. i seem to remember ipswitch finishing above us a good few years back. also in the we have had Newcastle, Liverpool and Villa finish above us for a season and look where we are now!
