Tommy - it's the usual carp that we get fed week in week out. Again, they are channelling messages out to the fans domain making sure that we don't get our expectations up for serious squad investment. So they can turn to us on Wednesday morning and say, "We told you so".

So Delph on loan for a guaranteed one month and a winger with no proven experience at this level yet is meant to sort out the mess.
Why should we wait until the end of the window like we always do? It will be too late then. Ever heard of proactive rather than reactive?
Tommy, the post was directed at Lorimer because our ex legend is a mouthpiece seemingly for whatever Bates wants him to say. He's got his seat on the board and I doubt he would be there 10 minutes after contradicting Bates in the media. The questions posed have relevance, but will never be answered by Bates.
If Lorimer can do that with an untroubled conscience then it's a sad pass to come to.

What I mean Tommy is that there is an alternative to just sitting down and taking all this carp. We could actually go out and invest in the squad instead of property projects. Lorimer is making all the excuses that we have heard before about not getting the quality in. He is even warning us a few days before the window shuts.
Tommy - I see him at every home game and I choose not to speak with him or listen to the rubbish that he spouts. Legend as a player, Turnip as a board member.

I agree that Bates is the main problem Tommy. I do see a point in what you are saying however does that mean that we should take all the Bates treatment lying down just for the love of our club?
I personally like the thinking and planned direction of the LUFC Trust that has recently formed. I'm not one for matchday demonstrations as we don't want to make the job harder for our average squad of players as it is already.

Let's hope that KellysHeroes is on to something re new investement. That will be a short to mid term project of getting Uncle Ken out. He is in this for sheer personal gain and the YEP poster has posed a large number of probing questions.

True but what does Bates actually do for us other than threaten to ruin the club if people don't walk in his path? We just need a honest and wealthy businessman or Consortium who have both the interest in our club and wealth required to help us progress. No need to live the dream again but let's not settle for the current nightmare we are enduring.
