Welbeck needs to get a footballing brain tho. So frustrating.

we did play better, however marginal. nothing wrong in pointing that out. we made mistakes and that is what made this a game in the first place.

Two moments of mad defending [keeper at fault, too] cost us but overall Utd were great on the ball. If we keep the ball well and be a little more creative and ruthless up front then I have little to worry about.

Lindegaard and a settled backline is also needed.

yea... a deluded ref today managed to avoid calling textbook red today. also i remember a deflected shot to the defenders hand, just like the man city match were you qualified for the league cup through. those refs that are helping us by obeying the rules

I tghought we play OK today all things considered, we played about as well as Liverpool we just made more mistakes in defence. Fair play to Liverpool they took their chance and deserve to be in the next round.

i thought the ref was a breath of fresh air too. Great to see a game played out like the old days.

Liverpool also made mistakes, i.e Enrique gifted you your goal

Man utd kept posession but in the middle or their own half, anyone can do that, Liverpool had more shots on target, more corners and more attempts.

Reina was barely tested.
