There is only one man to blame.
That man is Eric Steele.

I do agree with that Sir Alex deserves some blame for this too. De Gea hasn't played for the past few games, and putting him in a game of this environment, was going to do nothing but daunt him, seeing as he hasn't played for a while.
Problem also is the media, the way they scrutinise him after every little mistake, just causes laughter from other fans, and increases some frustration with the fans. I have no problem with him, and keeping the faith! He'll turn good, but you need to give a young lad some confidence, and regular game time.
The first goal wasn't his mistake, but a great tactic by Dalglish. All he had shown was put 2 tall defenders next to De Gea, and he'll have a major issue with clearing the ball.
The second goal, how anyone can blame De Gea is pathetic. Andy Carroll leaped higher, and Kuyt made a great run to smash it in. Evra if anyone should be questioned, but not to be blamed.
Playing at Carrolls strength is what they should be doing. Problem was it was the first time in the game the actually managed to get someone to make a run from one of his headers.
Personally, it's upsetting losing to Liverpool but I don't see it as the end of the world. Losing to Liverpool in the league will get me depressed!

The first goal he was definitely at fault.
You can't just say that because Liverpool put two players on him then there is nothing he could do. In that case, he could suffer the same every single corner we concede.
It's up to De Gea to get them out of the way and take command of his area. Something he looks like he's unable to do. If he is fouled then so be it he has grounds for sympathy. But yesterday he wasn't fouled. He was just very weak.
I just don't feel comfortable with him in our goal. You can just feel that a mistake is coming. I don't feel that way with Lindegaard and he is hardly a world famous seasoned keeper.
He just does the basics a whole lot better than De gea.
Watch the replay. Evra was 2 feet from Kuyt the whole time, it was just a fantastic lay off. Now if Evra was nowhere near where he should have been like Rafael was for the Arsenal goal, I'd understand the blame.
Sometimes a goal can happen, because the other team actually made it work for them. Not everything has to come from a mistake!
He's finished.
He will be mugged at every set piece from now on and Stoke will just be a car crash.
Fergie will go with Lindegard from now on with De Gea getting a run around in the Europa.
Another costly mistake by Fergie.
