Two departs Rocket. Looks like Ortiz is offski as well
Lets just say i indulge this notion that someone will step up and score the goals that Jelavic has scored...who exactly are you referring to?
Can only be Healy or the new 'Celik' signing...sorry Mervan..
Just wondering who is going to score the 20 goals a season...cant see it myself...
well its half a season
and we only have to play SPL teams
we have scored 7 in the last 2 games Jelly has missed.
"another will step up to the mark " Healey*, Healey....
*now going for the 'number-of-off-sides-in-one-game trophy' I see
Thats 5 stars from me Rocket ya big mong0
Duke "we have scored 7 in the last 2 games Jelly has missed." - I was jist thinking how impressive that was till I remembered - that was against Hibs and Abroath
5 stars mate Love a wee bit of rat juice.

Duke you have played Motherwell who have lost something like 12 goals against rangers in the previous 4 games and Hibs who have been dire this season.
If you are basing those games as the proof his goals will not be lost yer mad mate...

Apologies - I stand corrected. He DID play against Abroath.
as did algerias new zidane - Salim kerkarrrrrrrr
Tafka, if this is the only argument they can come up with to dismiss the loss of Jelavic as an irrelevance then they are not trying very hard.
Apart from Nikica Jelavic, Rangers' top goalscorer is Steven Naismith, a player who has been injured since the month of October. This does not exactly preclude any of the remaining fit strikers of stepping up, and being the goalscorer, but it hardly states a case for it.
Rangers supporters just want what is best for their team and they want progress. But I'm sorry, there seems to be no sign of a long-term plan at the club, perhaps the tax case shadowing the club has a significant impact on this.
Walter Smith, done an excellent job at that club and I think he was the difference between the two teams last year, his experience was very significant. But because a manager such as Smith was able to provide the title for Rangers when they were up against the odds, does not mean that Mccoist necessarily will. I am yet to hear a coherent explanation of how Rangers will survive the loss of such a key player, the main arguments being presented are those based on previous seasons and how such losses were coped with before. Nevertheless, I believe that you can hardly draw parallels to an experienced manager such as Smith coping with such a blow and a new manager in his first season also being able to do so.
I am not having a dig, my argument is that losing Nikica Jelavic and replacing him with a player of a standard miles below, will only be detrimental to Rangers' league chances. And since Rangers are behind Celtic just now, and Rangers will be weakened with the loss of Jelavic this suggests to me that they cannot overcome his loss. Unless of course, Celtic become even worse. Right now, the only thing I can see stopping Celtic, is actually Celtic themselves.
How much of a nick was the Hibs keeper for the 2nd goal btw
another old firm flop
mark brown
Motherwell don't count. Rangers get a three goal start every time they play them.
Good comments Henrik
