<which was open to any thomas , bernard or barry>
or Willyum.
I know 2 Bears who invested in Celtic.
McCann got the Coop Bank on board who gave interest free loans.
Whyte wouldn't have done that.
a company associated with Dave King, a successful Scottish businessman based in South Africa.

my guess would be SDM did not want any risk with a takeover
The rights are for shareholders only
at the time there seemed no need for more investment and the thousands of fans out there with 1 share its for the wall it gets you to the AGM and it gets you a copy of the accounts (well it used to)
The old boy went from 10 shares to 100
Why Ive no idea and nor does he.
You ordinary punter with the cert on the wall did not need to invest

Duke.
I think you're right about Murray's fear of a takeover.
I think that when the dust all settles it'll be business as usual.
Neither Celtic or Rangers will do a 'Leeds'.
WELL CELTIC WONT YOU ARE MINTED
For me way to many heavy hitters in the members club
Whyte steps out of line mmmmmmm
WELL CELTIC WONT YOU ARE MINTED
16 years ago it was the other way round.
We're all in the hands of the money men now.
The guys at Celtic now seem to be reputable and have at least medium term vision.
Funny thing is that Murray was the lad who gave Rangers what every Scottish fan dreamed of - cheque book ' we can get anyone ' stuff.
Because of that Rangers are now controlled by a Chancer of the first water.
That's a temporary thing.
Very temporary if I take your meaning correctly.
Im reading something similar in to a lot of this.
