Ferdinands too slow in the head to be a thug, Vidic is however and he gets away with it and praised for it.

Rio Ferdinand is not my favourite guy especially as a Liverpool fan but he is not in the same league as Barton

To be fair he is annyoying but you couldnt really call him a thug
