He's English. That has automatically doubled his price tag.
Not worth £7m.
But this is football, so that's irrelevant.
The question is will the lad help us avoid relegation with decent performances between now and May..
I don't see a 6th choice winger at Arsenal being anything other than Kakuta Mark II
Hmmmmm... Lots of money and decisions being spent and made today..
Watched him against Cardiff. Was blown away and actually said to my lad 'That's he sort of player I wish we'd go in for'. Personally think he's got brilliant potential. Well worth 7m.

How many 1st team games has he played?
How many times you seen him play?
Has he been involved in a relegation dogfight?
I'm sure he's got potential, but we need on the ground running...

I'm bored of Nixon now! Unfollowing the ass at midnight!!!
I am pretty bored of him too really, but he might be right on this one.
Wonder who is next on the list.
Ryo's had a pretty meteoric rise. He was playing high school football about a year ago.
We signed him, and loaned him out to Feyenoord, and he was exceptional. He's a genuinely two-footed player, as quick as Walcott, with a lot of tricks.
He may not be the player to single-handedly save you, but he could be the wildcard that makes the difference in some matches against other teams fighting relegation.
vaz te to west ham ,does big sam know a bargain when he see's one
Fair enough reply Supergoon... Clearly I hope you're right..
Hope it's a Wilshere/Sturridge signing rather than a Kakuta/Boyata one!!
To be fair LMB,
Ive only heard good things about Miyachi..
Whereas Boyata and Kakuta led to murmurs of hes good/ok/bad etc..
I certainly hope he can make a Wilshere/Sturridge impact. From what ive been told i think that is a possibility.
Yet to see anything bad...pace and skill been mentioned alot.
Read an article in 442 about the rise of the Japanese footballer.
Very technically proficient.
As for Zaha we'll do what we normally do in these cases which is say "how much?" No chance!" and leave it at that.
In the palace squad to play tonight I think. He is not coming.
Remember we tried hard but failed and we want quality not quantity so there.
7 million is ridiculous for us to spend right now on a C'ship punt.
We'd be better off banking it until the summer and spending it on Fletcher when we send Wolves down!
To be fair and I hope I am wrong by 11:00pm I said this with dos santos coyle has no pulling power to get players. He has been knocked back a lot without the player requesting the opportunity to speak to him.

Its a surface thing though. Our first problem has been talking to the clubs to agree a fee or if the player is availble. Most players have been unavailable.
WE are currently in a relegation battle, we have little pulling power as a club, not specifically Coyle.

Because we haven't agreed a fee with the players clubs ....
Usually a player then has the power to say actually I want to speak to them. At that point theclub are flogging a dead horse. If skd says to coyle Sunderland offer a reasonable amount I want to go he might as well sell.
That's what can happen if a player decides look that guy is going to make me a better player or that clubs going somewhere.

usually if two clubs are close to agreeing a fee - we are not with Palace.

Was that a deliberate spelling mistake, in order to get it past the mods, RB?
This is the cost of young, valued talent. If we had him and Man Utd wanted him, we'd want at least £7m!
