He couldn't get a game for our relegation rivals and your right, he's got championship experience that's why we got him.

A wouldn't bet on it with Harry 11:59pm Redknapp.

The deadline is actually 11pm so you mean 10.59pm. I am just hoping that we don't get any last minute exits, if we keep this squad with these additions I believe we are good enough to stay up. I dont like it that QPR are buying everyone as they are one of our relegation rivals. I dont see them going down with all these additions so that is pretty worrying but hopefully they will take time to gel and play cr.ap together.

I don't believe we have strengthened in any department.
I think we are relying on an injury free first team squad to stay up at best.

All 3 signings strike me as simply back up. This would have been fine if we were sitting comfortably away from the relegation zone but since we're not, I believe we're playing a very dangerous game by not improving the squad.

At leats Wigan are losing. Semeingly getting tough for them.

Well we're all underwhelmed and I hope that sorts out the last of the VenKean apologists. Deficient in key areas and more likely to let people go than acquire proven replacements. Venkys put money in - probably ended up net up as a result of JR going.

Rovers have improved we have more cover if we don't sell any players

A don't see were this improvement thing comes from.
We haven't brought in any better than we have let go.

We have more cover that's the improvement it's not perfect but it's all we are going to get

posted on 31/1/12

its not perfect by a long way. It doesn't look good and smells proper fishy.

Almost like we're being geared up for Championship wages. Nah that couldn't be...

At leases Wigan and Wolves are losing

Seriously, you can't say we've IMPROVED at all;

By that logic If Rovers signed me, a 16 stone, 33yr old, slightly asthmatic waste of space on a football field they are improving because they have more people to "cover" (Not criticising the new recruits by the way, just the suggestion that volume is an improvement) basically the cover argument is good, but it is merely "no worse" not an "Improvement"

Watched Craig Bellamy's goal tonight, I miss him.. I miss when we used to get quality, recognised players in that way we had the scope to uncover a 'gem' without relying on our unknowns all carrying the weight of our survival needs on their shoulders
