As it stands at the moment Rangers has operating costs of approximately £45 million a year and revenues of around £35million - not including revenue from possible Champions' League and Europa League participation.

There you have it.
In a nutshell your spending more then your getting - to the tune of £10m, and he has front end loaded the cash by selling advances ticket sales. What a master-stroke of business planning...
Is it a wonder so many of his companies died with this planning...
Incidentally I also see that your 'paper thin' squad has 30 players - 18 internationalists.
Does this mean we can stop the comments about having hardly any players as well...?
No mention of the Audited Accounts being published?
100% behind you Mr. Whyte .

"how come you have to pay for your season book upfront next season with no monthly DD scheme for the fans."

What are you talking about? Does any of what you just posted make sense to you?
Anyway, WUM away....with all this demanding of answers, maybe you guys can rush off to 'ra carpark' and show us how it's done?
Carry on.
"He is talking about bare revenue, not profit on player sales, not European money, season ticket money"
I'm afraid that's all spent for the next three years...

Ah yes, I get your maths now
3 x 35m = £105m
Facility arrange = £24m
Yep, they look about the same.
paisley take it you're not a season book holder as of next season it's a one off payment and no monthly dd scheme my mate who has three books 1 for him and his two boys for your place and he canny afford to pay all at once
So he won't be back and all i am asking is why do rangers feel the need to do this
'ra carpark'

Well said. The old board are like the opposition party in politics. Will say anything in opposition during the bad times, but have absolutely no clue how to do otherwise.
If AJ and PM had some magic solution, why weren't we told what it was? Because they didn't have one.
the hatred foreverything not rangers goes very deep for some in scotland
Fixed that fur ye
Rocknrollbhoy, Mr Whyte has my whole hearted support. Why it should interest you I've no Idea.
bigtoe
the renewals are not out yet
word is they will be out earlier than normal
no mention of not offering a dd payment option
Alistair Johnson was looking for a buyer that had the best interests of the club at heart. Not as if he wanted to stay on or anything. He knew what Whyte brought to the table and expressed his concerns about it at the time and before it even happened. Now his thoughts on the deal are coming to a head.
Mr. Whyte can have my season ticket money right now and gladly.
We are in a better position with Craig Whyte, than we were before him.
paisley, you have everything you need to make a decision based on whats been told up to now... then you have your trusted chairmans statement. pointing to a smear campaign
obviously you choose to ignore everything and believe your chairman....good luck with that and the ostrich impression....
word is they will be out earlier than normal
--------------------------------------------------------
I bet they will
Hillybilly, Paisley, Dos and all other bearz.
Totally agree. Good and realistic statement by the chairman.
100% support.
No name guy - If/When the shoe was on the other foot and this was your club, what would/did you do or say about the situation? Out of interest...
First, I would like to address specifically the latest attempt to undermine Rangers in today's Daily Record which devotes five pages to trashing our efforts to get this Club back on a sensible financial footing.
Here was me thinking the paper was underming whyte, and his running of the club, not the club itself
So he's going to boycott the Record now and hopes rangers fans will do the same
