Couldnt disagree more squid, both in the 30's, both with horrible injury records and both way past it. If Harry wouldnt play Pav or Bassong why in God's name would he play Saha and Nelson?

Morning squid - It doesn't seem like Harry had much control over things actually, he doesn't want Nelson or Saha, it was just a bit of desperate dealing on the last day as we didnt do anything all month

I understand selling Pav, but to replace him with a WORSE option?! And Bassong, if we are going to get rid of him at least sell him! He will be back in the summer along with Jenas and Bentley, we need to be selling these players now...

Don't think they think anything about it , TBH they are far more than happy with the football we're playing and the way the table is

Are they? Do we know the situation? Bale and Modric are not Spurs fans, they dont care whats going on behind the scenes all they care about is us showing ambition and seeing top players around them, i would totally understand if they want to leave, our only hope is that we are going to spend big in the summer, just as much as we can afford too, no sitting around anymore...typical Spurs mentality is just to sit still and thats what we seem to be doing

If you get rid of squad players you replace them with squad players ....If we got rid of 1st teamers and didnt replace them then you would have a point

Were you this annoyed after the Summer window shut ???? I saw so many on here pulling their hair out and guess what , we've had the best season for donkeys years

You have to get it through your noggin that usually nothing happens in the Jan window , managers don't what change when they are half way into the season and half way into the CL

Squid - But my point is, if Harry doesn't play the likes of Bassong or Pav then why bring in players who are even worse! Will they even get any game time? Why did we bother to waste time on those deals? Very desperate business and people are right to laugh at us

I was gutted in the summer, but not as shocked and disappointed as i am now...totally understand not much happens in January without having mega bucks, but nothing happened in the summer either, everyone keeps saying "the next window things will happen", well 3 have passed and we still dont have a proper goal scorer

They had no choice but to dump them two and replace them with squad players, Pav had argued with Bond and Bassong was moaning about not playing.

We don't want to disrupt the first team after a such a great first half of the season, bringing in a big name player would shift some one out of the team and could cause morale problems.

Just think the money we've saved in transfer fees and wages could go towards signing Leandro
