Never forget his winning smile

Good luck to him, shame it didnt work out, he has a lot going for him if he put just a bit more effort in

Will always be grateful for that screamer he got against Young Boys to get us right back in the game at 3-2, even if he was pretty poor most of the time.

He did score some crackers but well pleased with the £8mn we got for him.

Was it £8 million in the end? Good bit of business as long as we invest it in a goal scorer

yeah good luck pav,for me you overtook jenas as spurs most frustration player EVER.

i was gonna post that,as the sun has it down as only 3mil....?!

if thats the case we've been well and truly stung....

£3 million?!

Cant see Levy doing that on a player costing £14 million

Seems like we didnt want to let Pav go according to his agent as well....

7.5 million I heard.... always though the fans cut him a lot of slack as he was the classic Johnny on the spot type who grabs all the glory with a last minute deflection...

Saying that he did get a couple of screamers over the years, The Young Boys one most famously and that Van Basten like rocket against Bolton last season should of been a goal of the season contender....

£7.5 million sounds closer to the mark

I gave Pav more time than some as he was never REALLY given a chance, even when Ade has been shocking recently he didnt get a chance

His goal against Sunderland could make all the difference at the end. At least he was able to make some contribution to this season's campaign before he left.

Good luck to him.

I heard it was £8 million.

Always liked Pav, even though he was frustrating he did score some great goals for us. Always played with a smile on his face too, though that was probably something to do with the fact he hadn't run around enough to be knackered

Pav pretty much only ever scored great goals. Very few 'tap ins' and such like. Maybe that was the problem....

Shame it didn't work out really, as I think he genuinely enjoyed being a Spurs player.

He was bound to score mainly great goals cause he kept trying to shoot from anywhere on the pitch.

Our only striker that could shoot with his left.

Remember when Arry told him to "fackin run around a bit" and he scored the winner against Pool?

Louis Saha is left footed though.

Good luck to Pav and his body clock now once they get home.

Like most, I backed Pav for such a long time and think its such a shame he couldn't get regular football because maybe if he did he could have been awesome for us, but now was the time to sell him, he was never going to play regular for us or become a great as harry wouldn't let that happen. GOod luck to him. My thoughts are that if defoe doesn't come good by the end of the season we should sell him too, how many chances do we give someone to 'come good'
Clean sweep in the summer then
