Don't have to worry about that for too long madrush...they're scrapping the whole show at the end of the season.
On another note has anyone seen the new BBC football site? I cannot believe that someone was paid to do that.
Generally speaking, they show the highlights with regard to league positions...when we play Saints/'ammers, we'll be shown earlier....Simples.
Quite right, simples, but the 'little old Barnsley' persecution complex often serves us well.
Just imagination how fans of lower division teams must feel; media and the financial interests they serve are ruining more than just our national game!
Society (which doesn't exist according to Thatcher) is itself under threat. It's time for change, but things will probably have to get worse before they get better.
Apologies, in advance, for the rant, LOL.
Not quite true Sparty...we played West Ham a few weeks back and were still on last! Don't get me wrong, I don't ACTUALLY care (much... ), but every once in a while it would be nice if some TV editor said "You know what, stuff league positions - that was a cracking game, let's put it on first"
It just bugs me; the number of times I've spent 20-odd minutes watching 'highlights' of a dreary Southampton 1-0 win because they were top, whilst everyone else gets the highlights of a 9-goal thriller squeezed into 15 seconds.
BTW mon bison - I doubt anybody WAS paid to do that; the BBC has no money, hence the cutbacks (especially to essential, popular and useful services). It also explains why my daughter missed her 4th birthday party on Saturday; I thought she was kidding when she said to me "Daddy, a man from the BBC wants me to go and do some colouring in..."
TBH the design of the site is just one of the faults with the thing. I think that the front page now seems way too busy and a bit of a mess.
And it's been encoded in Flash, even though Adobe have withdrawn Flash support for mobile platforms. Built from ground-up, already incompatible. Genius
My gripes with the BBC regarding our club are endless. What really bothers me about the Football league show is the credits. Why is our club represented by a dirty little old man? Clearly he isn't a genuine supporter, I' Oakwell for 17 years, I think I would've noticed someone who looks like that knocking around!
That's not Barnsley, it's Bristol.
Shoulda gone to specsavers. Finally an end to your gripe with the BBC.... well probably not.
