We can't see the whole picture here. All I'll say is this: if we're running a business model that stresses investing in good young players with sell-on value rather than established stars already at their peak, there's only so far we can afford to restrict the wage structure for youngsters. If another Premiership club can offer a quicker route to first team football AND better wages, some players will take that, including one or two who are good enough to make it at United. It isn't necessarily a sign of ambition to wait patiently.
**************************
word! would hope people understand this when they critisize youngsters for wanting to start their career early.

Quit it or I will have you flogged by the OP
Suarez was asked about the situation earlier
He was asked directly why he thought Pogba Morrison Fryers and Welbeck are being problematic when a player like Cleverley patientl wait for their chance and demand nothing on the way
Suarez ws just about to answer when Dalglish tazered him
United aren't looking after their young players, this might come back to hurt you.
Welbeck isnt on less than 10k a week, and if Sunday Supplement is your source they said he was on £15k a week and wanted £60k.
Welbeck will sign a new contract IMO without any worry, and I hope he does, but before everyone says give him what whatever he wants, he's only done really well for half a season so far after coming back from a loan spell at Sunderland. To date he's scored less than 10 goals in all comps (think it's 7 in prem) and has been great cover and competition for Hernandez during and after his injury. However I'd personally prefer a player to at least complete a full season in the club's team performing consistently (like Hernandez last year) before demanding a new contract, let alone one that quadruples their wages. Welbeck would then get looked after as Hernandez did.
As for Morrison, SAF was totally right to get rid for loads of reasons, not least keeping discipline and control of the squad. Morrison didnt leave due to cash demands, he wasn't even offered a contract, because of his attitude and demands to be treated differently i.e. up to him if he comes to training yet still demands first team action, which is totally unrealistic.
Pogba will stay I think, and that would be great as he's a much better prospect than Morrison IMO, and much more like what we need. His patience will get rewarded as it did v Stoke.
As for Fryers, I couldnt care less if he demands a big rise, and SAF out his foot down. He's looked a good prospect but he's no Ashley Cole yet, and has only seen any action this year due to loads of injuries. If he leaves, because of silly demands and we need to buy a top class left back to replace Evra then fine, in fact more than fine as I personally think we need an experienced LB to replace Evra. If he stays and progresses in time with Fabio then great as well, but any threat from him (real or otherwise) now wont make me worry in the slightest about the outcome.

One of the reason's SAF gave for letting Morrison go to West Ham was because he thought it was for his benefit he got away from Manchester
Read into that what you will
SAF has a gift when knowing what to do with youngsters. When Giggs burst onto the scene SAF kept him really close and away from the media for his own good.
He plots a path for younsters that will always be in their best interests. If their agents think differently, and the players would rather believe their agents than the man that brought untold success to his fledglings, then they are not going to go too far in my opinion.

Do you have any evidence to support your claim that United are not looking after their young players?
i also dont get the blaming of agents. I am yet to see one go against the decision of their employers. So why blame them? the players back their decisions.

Surely I don't need to provide evidence of the young players who have been let go recently and the likes of Fryars and more importantly the wonderful talent that is Pogba voicing his frustration and he apparent willingness to move on.
I mean it can't all be a coincidence, can it?

£15k was it? There or there abouts, a player like Welbeck could certainly be earning a lot more elsewhere (now he is proving himself).
Vidicschin....
By 'these lads' I meant the type who are just in the game for the money, probably at least 70% of footballers under the age of 25.
And you say the likes of Giggs, Berba and co aren't in it for the money, you can guarentee they are on a VERY tidy sum, probably a good reason for them to have never looked elsewhere. Problem is, kids want it all too quick without earning it these days.

As far as I am aware, Pogba has not said anything of the kind.
Link please.
Pogba's story was all a load of carp, he was happy when he played against Stoke on Tuesday and to me that shows he wants to be a part of this club. He's been on the bench more this season, and I feel by next season he'll make a few more first team apps.
A Liverpool fan making statements without concrete evidence.
Hang him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think Morrison was even offered a contract tbh.. The pogba story is rubbish it's just that hes changing agents, and there's probably nothin to this either
Ah I see. There does seem to be a lot of unrest and if it happens once you can sort of understand it, however three times in recent weeks, can't be coincidence. There is something obviously not right when the youngsters want to leave. I thought it might be that United weren't doing enough to make them feel they were wanted or had a future with the club.

I am still waiting for you to prove this. You have had well over an hour to look for links.
I have not heard any youngster say he wanted to leave. Even Morrison.

As I said you can understand if it is one but if it is three, there must be something in it, regardless of whether I can find a quote, in a link for you.
I think the Ravel case was a little different, Manchester was a bad place for him to grow up as a person as much as a footballer. Some of things he wrote on Twitter for example proves his attitude stinks.
Pogba and Fryers is clearly just an agent wanting more money.
Out of interest, is Ravel on the 65k a week he 'demanded' from OT?
We should offer them a little more, on the condition that they sack off their agent for 75% of their contract (the PFA can handle any issues they have)
Pogba has been going through agents like wildfire already.
Well it would not be beyond the realms of all possibility to suggest that some of the youth players are not happy with the set up.
I still cannot fathom why morrison would consistantly skip training if he was happy, at potentially the biggest club in the world.
I would suggest their lies, potentially, a bigger issue than just agents.
As I said you can understand if it is one but if it is three, there must be something in it, regardless of whether I can find a quote, in a link for you.
