I didn't like XIII as it was too boring. I like having freedom to go where I want, not just walk in a straight line then fight.
Final Fantasy XII was however one of the best games I've ever played. It may well have ruined the whole series for me because it'll never get that good again.
the demo was actually enjoyable, might consider purchasing it
