as in the same age that sharapova was when she won the title??.. the game was a highly competive affair for long spells and any issues with age are irrelevent... if anything its a compliment to laura robsons game that she was coming out with the "come ons", such was the extremely high level that robson was playing at! she should benefit greatly from this game

I doubt very much if it had any detrimental effect on Laura Robson. Laura coped well with the German's fake injury and trainer 'time out' in the previous round.

This is one of many threads which show that there's no football at the moment. I doubt whether the football fans who have started these silly threads even know that there's a Women's World Cup going on.

Incidentally, I know I'm also a football fan, but I've also been to Wimbledon several times. In fact, I love the vast majority of sports and try to comment reasonably on them.
