We've had so much bad luck it's unreal! Eduardo, Diaby and Ramsey all have had their legs taken off!
'only way to stop Arsenal is to get at them' - How right were they, not only in a game but for subsequent games too!
Three players of huge potential ruined by thuggery. It's sickening.
he was my hero and I went to the comeback game
you can include Fabregas who had his leg broken against birmingham (and no he didn't break it in the following game taking that pen against barca, the damage was done by mcLIEsh's team)
Wow cookie. I'd have loved to have been there. I saw him score against Hull on the same day as Diaby and Denilson. Denilson scored a lovely free kick.
Denilson could have been pretty good if he had not been overplayed. I wonder what last year did to Wilshere and more importantly this year out. Just look at Rosicky.
not just over played, but played as a defensive midfielder when he was not defensive minded whatsoever.
True. Hey ho. He's not doing well in Brazil either is he?
not as far as i know. 2 or 3 red cards already, hated by his own fans.
How long on his contract does he have?
So gutted about how Eduardo's Arsenal career turned out, all because of that shocking tackle.
Diaby as well. Both careers horribly affected by thugs who could have done jail time if what they did had taken place on a public street.
I hope Ramsey was young enough for his not to have done much damage but alas Diaby was a youngster when his leg was snapped as well and look how he's turned out.
I got upset after the Carling Cup Final after I remembered Eduardo. Birmingham deserved it that day, but I feel they owed us one because of that injury. Eduardo was one of my favourite of all time

I'm not saying Taylor was not at fault, just that what he did clearly was not intentional. Your analysis of a drunk driver makes a lot more sense than branding him a butcher. Shawcross was a butcher, ok the tackle was an accident but after the match how he portrayed himself as the victim and how he vowed not to change his ways despite putting Ade and Jeffers on the shelf before he crippled Ramsey was simply indefensible. Taylor at least had a decent disciplinary record to back up the claims he was 'not that type of player'.
tailor was sent out to do a job on eduardo!!
mcLIEish was doing his mate furgie a favour. They knew eduardo was key to our success and he was taken out.
Maybe they didn't want to cripple they guy but injury was on their minds.
football is a cynical game and it is not beyond the realms of possibilities that eduardo's injury was intentional. For my money that makes tailor a butcher.
dan smith was just a humiliated thug looking for revenge and as for lenny, well he is no different to tailor....wound up by his manager and sent out to do a job on our players.
to this day those incidents still rile me and tarnish the game I love
'mcLIEish'
Oh dear.
Stop with the conspiracy theories already. Players may try to 'get at' your own players, but I seriously doubt they go out with the intention of breaking someone's leg and ruining their career.
Well, except Roy Keane, of course.
