well to be honest man Im from Ireland and starting supporting Spurs before I even knew who arsenal were so its probably not the same hatred some people feel. But seeing them struggle for 18 years like you say it makes it all the sweeter these days because Ive been with them the whole way through it

Arsenal fans start smelling the coffee, you aint won nothing for seven years now, and are not liable to be winning anything for the next seven years either.

What part of being lots of points behind Spurs season 2011/12 do you lot not understand. Unfortunately you cannot take the points earnt in season 1998 into this season.

Tottenhams record season.

Season 1961

31 wins, still to be beaten
11 straight wins to start a season, still to be beaten
16 away wins, still to be beaten
116 goals, still to be beaten

Now that`s what I call a record season.

"But this is all talk anyway, will you finish above us next season when Luka 'I want to play for chelsea' modric and Gareth 'best player in the world' Bale are both gone?"
**********
wot rubbish is this?
Bale ain't going nowhere ..... read his contract, and as for Luka, well..... European footy is wot he wants.
And if Luka does go next season, he will fetch a good enough price to get an even better replacement.

Wot I dont understand is .... Saha!
Goodness that is a move I would expect Fulham to make.

Perspective? Ok,the voice of experience here. We will have to wait and see what Arsenal's next result will be to judge their form. If they lose then this was a one off out of keeping with their current run of results. But if they thrash their next opponents then I would say that they will go on a good roll. I posted after their 0-0 at Bolton,a place where Liverpool were thrashed that they still had something dangerous in the pot.

Merely pointing out if you are going to try to publish the history of Tottenham Hotspurs, please try not to forget the good bits.

Mind the gap.

I met a lot of your plastics on the underground today at Turnpike Lane, they must have left the match about 30 mintues from the end. I entered the tube just before the final whistle at 2.55, and the tube was full of Arsenal supporters, I asked what the score was and they said 6-1. I had to correct them and told them their had been another goal in the final 20 minutes.

Talk about prawn sarnie fans. I doubt they saw more than 30 minutes football.

The season 2005-2006. is hardly history, what your quoting was 51years ago now thats history.

Although for you it must seem like yesterday. As you have achieved so little since.

Give up trying to score brownie points, your team is carp. The more you try to defend them, the more stupid it makes you.

6th/7th best you can hope for this season.

Why ask the score when you knew the result.and as a after thought why the interest.

I am a footie fan first and foremost, so always like to know the results. If you are not interested in any other game other than your own team, then you have serious problems.

Sandy you asked the result of the Arsenal game, which you already knew, your the one with the serious problem.
There is treatment available ,or is it just your age you are a grandfather after all.

I think the serious problems lie with your own fans, and them being halfway home, when the game was still in progress.

And what`s all that nonsense about posting 59,000 at the game, when everybody could see there was barely 35,000 in the ground. Call yourself a big club, your plastics are vanishing in their thousands.
