You read his wiki page?

Problems with personnel management, problems with match-fixing, but we may eventually get to sign Prosinecki!

The main issue with the managers job at Leeds in my
view is he, the new manager, does he fit the job...
doesnt the new manager have to fit the image of the
club, be familiar with the culture, the fan base, the
northern city football to some extent?

Does Raddy Antic? Doubt it...would de Matteo?
doubt it!

NJS,

You could say that about almost any foreign manager at an English club though.

Fair point PD...though if you analyse some of the
foreign managers that come to the UK some are
already fans of the club, have been lifelong fans, so
are familiar with the culture...but how many have
failed in clubs where there ideas dont fit in with that
club, quite a few were bad choices!

I don't really see why they'd have to be familiar with the culture of the club etc..

Maybe it would be good to get someone completely fresh in and I doubt that Antic has never heard of Leeds United and we have a worldwide fan base

After that though Warnock really takes my fancy for the job! He knows how to do it at this level, even if he is an arrogant @ ss

Arsene Wenger? No-one had even heard of him beforehand, but he transformed them almost overnight. I couldn't give a toss if Antic or Di Matteo have no connections with Leeds or aren't familiar with our culture. As long as they're successful, they will be sure to grow on fans that way.

I honestly think that both antic & matteo would both be disasters for the club, dont ask me why Ive just got that feeling.

Dan: They dont have to be familiar with the culture of
the club, but I think it would help and give them an
advantage to start with...the chances, the percentages
of managers succeeding is still fairly low, which
suggests that more bad choices than good choices
are made.

Fresh ideas most certainly, not against that, with a
knowledge of what the fans expect and like, the
public image of the club to be taken into account.

I can see Antic either being a massive success or a massive failure, but I can only see success for Di Matteo, to be honest.

Who knows maybe Redfearn is the next Glen Rhoder!?
But saying that I don't think Rhoders had a job since his one decent season!

Antic has been to Luton.

Well Ive been to Luton as well Eric....and your point is?

Apparently Antic stayed at Luton for 4 years, I could never wait to get the **** out of the place when the final whistle went. That is one ****hole!

He was a player during his time at Luton though, and they were a decent side back then :L

Luton, Bradford, Charlton, so many teams have fallen much worse than us.
