Evra also gave away the free kick
He does seem to have lost a lot of his defensive awareness, but he's beastly going forward. Who do you suggest we play instead? He's still comfortably the best left-back at the club, Fabio seems incapable of completing 90 minutes.
a bit harsh
i'll give you the first one tho
evra is not good enough anymore.
i think it would be better if fabio and fryers got more game time. let Evra know he has to fight for his place like everyone else.
Very surprised Fabio hasn't been given a run of games by now. I honesty think the reason is that Fergie is concerned about loosing balance in the team with the lack of a left footer flying down the left wing. Big shame really as I think Fabio is, and has always been, the superior of the Da Silva twins. Certainly technically anyway.
Excellent going forward but a liability in defence. A LB who cannot defend is no good.
I would be tempted to play Fryers.
Just as he was coming back to decent form before the Liverpool game, he slumped once again. Anyone think we should give Fabio the run out now?
Harsh for all the goals.
The first and the third for sure. Can't blame him for the second.
His form is worrying. He shouldn't be captain either.
Every goal seems to be coming from our left.
Coincidence?
He should be used as a winger. I reckon he would be better than Ashley Young who just seems extremely average.
calm down... they did get lucky as well.
he was also part of the comeback...
they were warriors today, we have a lot of positives to take... deserved all pts... but hey..
3-0 down. at the bridge. time to pat them on them on the back... that includes De Gea!!
Man Utd
I think he has lost hunger to play for us, didnt he say this summer he would be interested in a new challenge?
He jsut doesnt seem to be switched on most of the time anymore.
I think this summer could see him for the exit and a new lb bought in.
Fryers isn't ready. Not yet. I think Fabio and Fryers will end up competing for the LB spot when Evra finishes, but Fabio right now is a lot better than Zeki. I don't think Evra is that great anymore to be fair. Hard to knock off the ball and great at getting past players, but I wouldn't be unhappy to see him dropped for a month in Fabio's favour
First one: Have you never seen a player skip past anyone? When Valencia did it, we say because he's brilliant. Sometimes you have to put up your hand and say he did tremendously well. I blame Rio, as he was was next to Evra in the back four, and was nowhere to be seen to help Evra. Evans did his best to come in, but the unlucky deflection was the reason the goal went in.
Second goal: He didn't get tight enough to Torres, I will agree, but was it Evras fault that the ball landed beautifully for Mata, who brilliantly hit it in? Is nobody meant to be marking players in the box, or was Evra meant to be there too?
Third one: I will give you that. Neville and Redknapp both showed a slow video of it, and shown that Luiz easily just pushed Evra out the way, who just had his back to Luiz the whole time.
However, do we also have to put up with Evra rushing forward, and making goals happen for us?
Grow up and stop picking on a player. It's a team effort!
Its all well and good "giving Fabio a run of games", but he continually seems to pick up muscle injuries and get subbed off on 60 minutes. Rafael has had a few injuries too, but usually impact injuries which result from him putting himself about a lot. Fabio needs to bulk up a bit, maybe we just feed him and De Gea on steak and beer?
If he had played like Rafael today we would have won easily.
calm down guys, it was only a few weeks ago everyone was creaming over him against arsenal, yes his standard is lower than at his best 2/3 years ago but remember that standard made him the best lb in the world so any kind of drop will be massively noticible
the 2nd, you must be joking? perfect cross and perfect finish. Some things can't be defended
Considering he's the only defender that has not gotten injured in the last few years, I think you should give him a break. Amazing going forward but clearly younger legs will beat him at the back. Not his fault he's 32 and has to defend against someone 10 years younger
3-0 down.
====================
They also deserve heavy crtisism for going 3-0 down to begin with.
Great comebacks are good to watch, but it shows we were more than sloppy to begin with.
Which isnt good enough.

Rio was next to Evra for the first goal and if Sturridge had bee shown inside we would have dealt with it fairly simply.

He's 30 mate.
I'm getting more and more concerned with Evra's performances. His poor positioning and lack of awareness of what's around him has cost us quite a lot this season and I think these areas of his game have been gradually getting worse over the past 2-3 seasons now. He's a real threat going forward but we can't continue to concede goals due to his imcompetence at the back. He needs to shape up defensively or risk losing his position to Fryers or Fabio if he ever gets back to full fitness.
where is fabio lol, I suppose he made up for it with the win of the penalty. I was amazed that he let sturridge do whatever he liked that led to evans og. 2nd goal I think ferdinand should have done better as well and 3rd was a shocking defending rafael had to move over as no one was defending chelsea centre players..

Rio was marking Cahill. Had to leave him to mark Luiz who Evra for some reason failed to stay with.
