First time I put Van Persie in my team and as captain as it looked an easy fixture.

I had rooney at the beginning of the season but when Fergie shifted him to Mid, the goals dried up and Rooney is one of those players that take time to get going.

I might resign him though and mario when he gets back.Im not selling van Persie again, especoially in home fixtures. I might bid for the Ox and that sunderland lad.

The thing with this fantasy league is you are almost forced to play with 3 strikers if you want points.I thought have thrifty defenders would help but even if they keep clean sheets makes no difference.

Another point machine is yakubu, he gets goals in bucket loads.

I got almost 90 pts without having RVP in my team. Gutted most of my rivals had him and as captain to get 46 pts for him alone though.
