Spurs "squad fill" have scored more than Suarez + Carroll + Gerrard + Adam + Downing
Thats the difference between us now!
We need more creativity in the last third.
An attacking MF with vision and a striker with a proven stike rate:
1) MF = Christian Eriksen
2) ???? Which striker ?????
Why can no one else see how terribly ineffective Spearing is? Its like playing with ten players.
Spearing is not ineffective.
He's a highly accomplished ball winner and is a total pain in the Arsenal for other teams.
Mucks up a few passes, sure, but he's not and has never been cast as a playmaker.
Had a good game last night and, with a bit of luck, might even have scored.
If that shot had been a foot or so to the left he'd have been a hero.
Spearing had a good match in defence, a bad one passing forward.
I think he matched his misplaced passes total for the season last night.
It was an off day in that regard, not a pattern or reflecting a normal performance.
Spearing was more effective than Scot Parker going forward.
Little 'Scottie' Parker is some sections of press's precious little darling....he can do no wrong.
Ignoring the fact that he's anonymous for 95% of matches he turns up for and failed to hack it at bigger clubs.
MoM last night? The cat put in a more convincing performance.
Everyone knows that.
