I know that, in former seasons, when Arsenal has just pipped us to a CL place, or last season when they just finished in 3rd above us, they wummed us mercilessly, telling us that we would "forever be in their shadow" and how we would lose all our best players. It was mean and hurtful, and I am sure that many of us still feel bruised by that experience.

Now, we are the dominant force, not only in North London (where the Power Shift has well and truly been completed), but in the whole of London (since even Chelsea are now in our shadow). It would be so easy to treat the Gooners with the same degree of contempt as they once treated us with; but my message to you all is, rise above all of that, and be the bigger man. Remember, they have lost great players such as Bentner, Clichy, Nasri and Fabby, and are shortly to lose RVP (their one remaining class player). Remember that they are stuck with an aging, clueless manager who has sworn never to leave AFC, even when he dies. Pity the poor Gooner, don't scoff at him. And when he smites you, remember that it's only because he lacks the courage to face the truth that Spurs is now the bigger and better club. Pity him, take him into your heart, and love him. Yes, that's right, love him. For he now must fight for the scrapes of Thursday night European football with the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle, perhaps even LFC.

Do not spurn the Gooner, my friends. Embrace his pain and make it yours, that he may be healed. Remember, that he feels keenly, even after all this time, the pain of humiliation at the hands of a rampant Barcelona side (when Bentner fell over his own bootlaces in front of goal, and made English football the laughingstock of Europe). Cry for him, laugh for him, pray for him; but, above all else, offer the solace of your understanding. One day, he may even admit that getting Henry back into their squad is the biggest joke in EPL history. He'll never understand, he is programmed that way, but at least he may come to accept our fortunes have crossed paths, and that AFC must now suffer season upon season of disappointment and frustration.
