why the hell is the word more highlighted with an advert?

OZZY4LEEDS, Firstly like to say good to hear having your ban lifted ( no apology = disgusted by lufc ).

Probably the reason why bates is still in charge is that there has been no bids coming in from some rich billionaire from russia, saudi arabia etc, etc, etc.

Last night i was sleeping under a bridge

now im on the finest ship in the world sipping champagne with you fine people

Be careful Ozzy, this poll is not as democratic as you think. It allows you to click as many times as you like. I was able to register 10 votes by clicking one after the other. You could imagine some Bates haters just sat there clicking. It therefore does not mean 13,000 fans voted.

Ah, i see. However you can't see anyone doing it that many times

It's also a bit of a stupid question by YEP.
They asked the question; 'Who is to blame for Leeds United’s league position'?
Well, we are 9th, two points off the playoffs, which is a good position to be in. Therefore you could argue that 'blame' is a stupid word, and therefore Bates is getting all the votes as 'credit' for where we are!

Actually did not vote
We all know Bates saved Leeds United
He is my hero
Not to mention the holidays he is paying for

It's a garbage paper these days.

95% see Bates as the problem.

If only the 95% would put their principles first, we would be rid of him within one season.

One season's pain of not attending would get rid of him and Harvey.

BON... boycotting is not the answer...... why do you think they willl go if you didn't go?

posted on 8/2/12

Boycotting is precisely the answer, but it will only work when the tipping point has been breached. It makes no difference if I alone was to stop. It makes every difference is 95% of customers stopped purchasing.

I don't think we are far off from the tipping point (not the 95%) in terms of tipping LUFC into unprofitable - not because we want to, but because Bates' pricing policy has priced the majority out.

If ER prices were reasonable and average for the whole division, there would be no issues at all with Bates other than ideology (Chelsea etc). The place would be pretty full - between 27k and 30k average if not more.

But the policy is wholly wrong and the product does not offer value for money, and this leads to antagonism and hatred for the regime.

As with any business, if you pee off your customer base too much, your business will fail.

If boycotting was undertaken by the 95% who claim that Bates is the problem, he would have to sell pretty sharpish or change his policy.

I don't mind which.

But a key general principle in business is that your product must be priced competitively to bring in enough customers to give you the best chance of profits. That goodwill from the customer is disappearing fast at ER.

To conclude: boycotting is the ONLY answer

BON.. you are wrong.... Bates will just put the club back into admin with no money coming in.... after he's sold more players to make the shortfall..we'll be minus 15 at the bottom of L1 again very quickly

posted on 8/2/12

Won't happen Tusc. So I will return to you your

He has already been involved in one admin as have his directors. They will work their butts off to ensure they are never in that situation again because the rules would prevent any of them ever being involved in football again.

But if taking administration and -15 and League 1 is what it takes to get rid of Bates and his cronies from football forever, I would take that.

posted on 9/2/12

BON it won't, they'll just put the club back in admin, and stay put until the hotels and the other things are sorted..

The best, and only way to get rid of Bates is to get in to the premiership, the club is worth more, so he'll sell, with a bigger income... Bates will make sure he walks away from it a rich man

Also, are you a new poster? (account created 06th Feb) ??

posted on 9/2/12

Tusc - you can't "put the club in admin" and "stay put".

Once a club is in admin, the administrator takes over. Bates and his mates will be kicked out from football forever - they are not allowed to be involved in 2 admins - and KPMG will not be so placcid this time. neither will HMRC.

How can you back a guy who would happily scruuw the club over?

How can you back a guy who will NOT EVER get this club into the premiership? Despite paying the 4th highest prices in the land!

"If you want premiership football, you have to pay Premiership prices" but he won't buy premiership players to get us in the premiership so it's all a con

You are being conned and you are happy to be bent over and rodgered royally by a s_ mbag

What has "new poster" got to do with anything? Are you somehow suggesting I am not worthy of an opinion?

not at all, I just wondered who you were before?

I'm not backing him, it's just I disagree with boycotting, it wouldn't do any good what so ever, we'd have to sell players for the shortfalls, and eventually we'd be relegated, then the whole 'but back for a pound' thing comes in again...

boycotting is not the answer BON

boycotting is the only answer Tusc

posted on 9/2/12

why don't you do an article on it BON, get the reactions of others too

I'm all for Bates out mate, honestly but I fear we'll damage the club further, pushing us into a lower club than we are now, damaging our reputation further.

so then, to put closer to our mis-app the other day... Peace BON?

you were somebody before though weren't you?

posted on 9/2/12

I've always been somebody.

Am sure I will do another article on it at some point. Again and again. If only to annoy the pro-Bates brigade, along with chanting Bates Out at matches this season.

I don't fear damage to the club in such a respect. We have shown we can rebuild this club. We had to when we were in league 1. We saved this club by truning up in our many thousands at every game. Any business man could have run the club in that environment with a clean slate.

This is why Bates did not save our club. We did.

Bates was happy to let our club die if he did not get the nod from the administrators. He wrote that himself. That type of person should NOT be able to pass a fit and proper person test.

But too many are still blinkered and are too scared.

Better the devil you know is just a euphemism for weak and cowardly.

Bates Out Now!

posted on 9/2/12

I don't think we have a 'pro Bates' people just don't let him spoil the best Sport in the world... weak and cowardly are the ones who let one man spoil it for them

you were a 606 poster before this account weren't you?

why did you re-invent yourself?

posted on 9/2/12

Tusc - you sound like one of the rich happy Tunisians who were happy while 95% of the population suffered. You really are part of the problem, not the solution.

posted on 9/2/12

yeah I'm the problem because I like watching football and I'm rich

I am the problem - it's all me, not Bates, it is me because I'm rich.... great well done for that
