This is what generally happens when you prosecute somebody and you don't actually have any solid evidence to back up the charge.

Jurors accepted Redknapp's angry denials that he avoided tax on any payments over £189,000 found in a Monaco account.
His acquittal alongside co-defendant Milan Mandaric blows the final whistle on an exhaustive £8 million City of London Police investigation which failed to yield a single conviction after five years.
Ridiculous. £8 for a £189k case and nothing substantial enough to go by.
But it kept the CPS in work and that's the most important thing.
What else is new?...just a big waste of time, like a tabloid scandal...all over and amen!
Well look on the bright side. The tax payers max have spent a fortune on that court case but Arry doesn't pay taxes so at least he didn't have to worry about the expense.
