The remarks were made after he left Utd not whilst he was there.

If Kenny had a player demanding money that they arent worth then I think that they would be sold.

I think the OP stated that United knew Morrison was going to make them, so thats why he was not given a new contract...

"United reacted the opposite of Liverpool, publicly condemning him and selling him. Although Morrison made his remarks after he'd been sold, there was no doubt he was this type of character, so United decided to sell him"

Won't this cause a mass exodus in the summer?

Congratulations MUFC on being able to predict the future, I recently predicted Webb would be United's best player Vs Chelsea but the lottery numbers elude me...

I don't really see this as a very comparable example, but I do think Liverpool handled the situation disgracefully, and for Kenny to come out and say that Suarez should not have been banned is disgusting.

Think the lad is one of those ' self fulfilling prophecies' we hear so much about. Wish him good luck with West Ham but sorry to say have my doubts .

Thats not what I meant, I was meaning demanding ridiculios wages.

Well he paid £35 million for Andy Carroll so clearly he is financially deluded?

Not sure your article is that accurate, Morrison was sold because he was putting himself and his gangster mates ahead of the club, not turning up to training and just being a bit of a nob.

Liverpool hardly covered themselves in glory with their backing of Suarez but the 2 situations are pretty different.

So Fergie has a crystal ball now eh? The sold him because he will not make the grade due to his arrogance. So many players fail because of this, Bentley as a recent example. Arsenal knew he had talent but was a big head who would fail so got shot for a small fee.

LFC took the cowards way out, cos, he's there best player, and need him desperatley.
Whereas UTD, well, we have stars in abundance and don't need Morrison, even if he was our best.
Man utd showed no-one is bigger than the club.

Stringer, bull!

If you want to see how players are treated differently then consider Stam (past his best) versus Rooney.

As has been said, Morrison was booted out because of his lack of ability and poor attitude. Ridiculous to suggest otherwise!

As I understand the situation, Morrison is a nightmare waiting to kick in. Even SAF couldn't control him, thats why he was off-loaded to West Ham. He is no stranger to the criminal courts, he appears beyond control, it seems that he hear only what he wants to hear. ManU have sell-on clauses, I'm sure they wanted to keep him but it seems he is hell-bent on putting the phrase 'loose cannon' into a new era. I hope we read more of him in the back pages as opposed to the front pages of newspapers. I'm not holding my breath. A fantastic talent pressing the self-destruct button. JimmyTheRed

Terrible comparison anything to get one over a rival.

..............................

His ability was not the problem, just his attitude. Same with Stam (though just his book rather than his attitude) Stam was still an amazing player when we let him go, still right at his peak and every time we played against him after that he was the best player on the pitch.

I have heard you talk nonsense about United players in the past Pie but to call Stam past it when United sold him really tops the lot you either have no knowledge of football or put it in there to take a dig...

Ohh and Webb missed two penalties we should have had, gave one we should have had and gave us one soft one... so in retrospect he was Chelsea's best player if anything...

Anyway, enjoy the championship next year
