Bring back Hoddle

club over country for sure.

as for hoddle. hmm. its hard to see what options we have really.

i wouldnt mind giving hughton a go but the problem is that we cannot afford to make a bad appointment

if we were mid table i would give chris h a go, but modric and bale will be looking for a big name who will attract big players.

Think the 86/87 side was better myself (this side may have more promise however) but a good call for Hoddle, shame he won't even be anywhere near an outside bet for the permanent job as he's been out the game so long (piddling around in Spain apart).

might be a long shot for the Euros though

Hoddle to send you back to midtable and lose 5-3 after being 3-0 up again

Oops, only read the first paragraph about bringing him back to England. He had that job 10 years too early for me, but still did a great job (comments aside).

Bring him back to Spurs? No chance.

If you forced Chelsea/Arsenal fans to be objective, they would admit Hoddles side played the best football of any England side for two decades. They were extremely unlucky against Argentina in 98 and Hoddle did a very good job.

would they? most chelsea and arsenal fans i know dont have a clue about anything let alone football.

two clubs whose fans have very limited intelligence and understanding about anything whatsoever.

Hoddle did a decent job at Spurs but it's only the International shout I'm making for him. If Arry' does leave (seems likely) I can't see a great replacement except for Jose. Chris Hughton just ain't ready for Spurs, though I'd like to see him back when he's had proper Premier League management experience. Maybe Brendan Rogers? I dunno.....

brendan rogers is a big risk.

this is the most important managerial decision we will have for a while.... it HAS to be the correct one.

There is 1 obvious replacement It might not be everyones cup of tea though...

Mourinho - Very unlikely.

Hughes - Staying at Fulham

MON - Staying at Sunderland

Carlo - Staying at PSG

Moyes

If I had to bet, Moyes will become Spurs manager.

not sure i can imagine moyesy attracting leandro damiao to the club tho

Chronic, you think Damiao or VDV knew who HR was.....?

Any suggestions for a realistic big name?

Benitez

No way to Moyes for me! I'd rather we have Kevin Bond or Clive Allen as caretaker manager, until we find the right replacement. I agree Chronic, this is a very important decision should Arry' go.

Benitez is not a bad shout Joachim Lowe is another good one (can't see him leaving unless ze Germans don't do well at the Euros). Brendan Rogers would jump at the chance to come here, he's had experience working with Jose, he's done a superb job at Swansea, I'd take a risk on him to be honest

Benitez is an awful, awful shout - joke manager in England and very far beyond after Liverpool and then what he did to Inter.
