What a load of old pony.. You really don't have a clue do you...
Rumours are that one of the Bookies Fav's has been seen in Leeds......
Warnock was on talk sport last night talking about Capello.
He was asked directly if he was going to take the Leeds job, and he just pretended his phone was breaking up. He clearly wants the job, and has most likely applied, but Batesy doesn't want to spend the money.

Tommy, same reason as he sacked Macca aye ?
he won't employ some one who will rock his boat, look at the list of managers we have had under him. he inherited Blackwell, John Carver as imterim, then employed 2 mates, then Macca who has had a voice then scouted a mild mannered LEEDS man who was doing good job at Blackpoll who was promissed lots & got fook all. I posted if we were not in the top 6 after xmas bates would sack Larry like a dog, oo guess what. his timing was perfect no? & now he has no-one in place to take over, if he was such a great business man he would have already had a replacement in line but guess what NO !!!!

yeah my belief is the same, as Macca questioned bates too as to why he got shafted
On this issue, I think it is right to give redfearn the chance to show whwther he is up to the grade. If you have a possible ready-made candidate in place, there is nothing wrong with using him.
I am solely worried about burn-out, as he can't do the first team, reserves and kids!
BON yup seems sensible really, it's just bates all over though

Tommy - he won't buy new-in new backroom staff if he might employ someone else though, cos new managers usually bring their own teams. So redders is up against it at the moment
do you really think so ? I am struggling who I would like to see managing Leeds, DiMatteo for me I think or Zola

how short is short ? 3 / 4 months?
It has to be short term. Probably until Warnock is ready. Hence why he has given Redders another week of games to allow that breathing space. Timing is too convenient
Same with the England job. Redknapp cleared and immediately Capello resigns.
As long as Bates has been honest with all concerned, I'd be happy with the above
I am more than likely wrong but just can't see bates & warncock working together
agreed Lashed, I would love to be wrong on this one, but I can't see it either
Am I missing something? Redfearn's not been appointed to anything that I've heard of. All that's been confirmed is that he'll be in charge for the next 3 games, i.e. a week.
