The money bags at Chelsea and City have right stopped us, we would of been a top 4 team years ago if Chelsea were never bought
Let's look at the facts;
1992-3, great team with Venables, Livermore, and Clemence at the helm. Razor as captain, things on the up. Close season..things get nasty between Sugar and Venables, Venables out, Razor goes with him, that's the end of that.
1994-95 Klinsmann, Sheringham, and Barmby. Team really looking good. Close season, Klinsmann and Barmby leave, replaced by Chris Armstrong.
2001-2 Hoddle returns, everybody happy. Sol shafts us.
2005-6 Verge of Champions' league, Lasagne. The FA (with help from David Dein) refuse replay of match.
2007-8 Levy loses his nerve, loses Jol and later on Berbatov and Keane.
2011-12 well...we'll see...
Once again i agree chronic....We have had so many lows as tottenham fans in recent years and to finally have something special for our club only for it to be potentially snatched away is heartbreaking for me as a passionate spurs supporter. I just honestly think if Harry goes and we don't get in a top class replacement we run the risk of not only losing our top players but not being able to attract top players either, regardless of us being in the CL. I feel we could potentially go back to square one again when we have took so long to build this side up, really p isses me off
