VDV is God, this is a non-article from the Fail and you've misread it making it worse. He hasn't rejected anything and The Fail on Wumday have no quotes or evidence to suggest what they say is true.

According to the Fail, Man Utd and Chelsea were preparing bids for Modric everyday for 2 and a half months over summer, we were signing Kaka in January and countless other articles that you wouldn't wipe your árse with.

Oh and King doesn't owe us or the club, he's made sacrifices too you know. He can't play football with his kid in his garden or he'll risk not being able to play the following week, he's risking not being able to walk in the future and goes through a grueling routine each week after a game in order to have a chance of being able to play the following week. Not to mention the fact that he's been our best centre half and captain in recent memory.

Well, it just says his agent is doing some bargaining.
He might end up with a combination of reduced salary and a high per play fee.
I've always thought that Ledley King was destined to go into the Tottenham organization in a coaching capacity.
He has been Spurs since he was a lad. I remember seeing him in his early first team games as an eighteen year old.
He has few alternatives. No other club is going to take him with his knees.
And remember, he took himself off the England squad that went to South Africa because he could not guarantee to play every game.
