i love benny as much as the next man but i get irritated when he doesnt braid his hair. that lacksadaisical approach is then reflected in his performances. every single time he has his hair in an afro he is too casual on the ball and has a poor game.

I think its just precaution so hes sheltered if theres a really sudden heavy snow

I like benny but could of killed him when he kept that ball in against city and hoofed it upfield and cost us the game and prob chance of the title

It's funny (albeit irrelevant) than fans of other clubs rate him so poorly. A fan of another club was trying to convince me that he was our worst player by some margin.

Also, the ridiculous belief that Leighton Baines is now the best left back in the league seems to have gained credence.

I've never thought Benny was, but IMO he's certainly better than Baines.

Baines freekicks seemed to have clouded a lot of peoples judgement. Although i dont think he has put one away for a while.

I think if we bought baines he probably starts.... with benny as back up. although i wonder if baines could operate left mid when bale/lennon is injured.

I love Benny because there arent many left backs in the league that actually entertain the fans. the amount of times he has mugged players over when he seems to be in a tight spot is brilliant

Benny makes the odd mistake (the city game comes to mind) but they are few and far between and I cant help it he makes me laugh but there is no way I would want Baines instead of Benny.
