As for failed managers, from one specific club, well try these on for size.
Steve Bruce, Steve Coppell, Stewart Houston, Mark Hughes, Paul Ince, Joe Jordan, Roy Keane, Brian Kidd, Bryan Robson, Gordon Strachan and Ray Wilkins.

I was talking about Liverpool, not United
In any case United have had some successful managers. Not many trophy winners, but still competent ones.
Harry Redknapp is being talked abot for England having won one trophy (which was a total fluke.)
So not all good managers have big trophy cabinets.
As per my comment 40 minutes ago, over the last twenty years, there have not been many managers who have won anything.
I dont know.... If he was alive, maybe you could ask Sir Matt Busby? and obv Kenny Dalglish who was and still is one of only 2 managers to win the top flight with 2 clubs.. and Carragher will be good, you heard it here first!
