So Hiddink comes in on a temporary spell, then leaves in the summer and a new manager comes in and gives Malouda and co another chance

Great

Rafa the gaffa would be top of my list

Steve Kean could also do a job for us

We approached Hiddink in the summer and he didn't want to be part of a long term manager project so in the end we went for AVB. I think that was how it went. So like srf said the only thing that could happen would be Hiddink on a caretaker role and then we're back to square one. Mind you I would be all for Hiddink as a DofF type of figure

How about Alan Curbishley or Zola

you should get copello a proven track record in winning trophies.

curbishley would do a good job, very under rated imo.

BK,
Hiddink wanted to honour his contract with Turkey which is understandable that's why he didn't come to Chelsea. Getting him would have been no problem If he actually wanted to break his Turkey contract.
Hiddink definitely wants to manage another club now that he is no longer with Turkey.
