Mate.. no one needs to hang their heads in shame, he has been poor and looked lazy, but with two up front today he was fantastic and first to admit im glad he was not dropped .. he was world class today
Harry knows what he is doing. Must have had a little pep talk with Ade, he was superb. Plus I have him in my fantasy footy team. Tough luck those in the ja606 mini league! COYS!

Fair enough, but a lot of our supporters were saying that Ade needed dropping, when it was obvious he has been trying to run the front line on his own. A bit of assistance today made all the difference.
I think he is a bit greedy at times which holds his overall game back, but he is a quality striker. There's not many teams who wouldn't want a guy like him playing for them.
No need for a thread like this tonight mate.
100% agree op. Sure he's been off form, but he's different class. Other than the watford game he's been working hard just not scoring.
He played very well today, although to be honest I think we'd have won it if Defoe had been playing instead.
Agree no need for this thread.. we all have different opinions and i was one who said he should be dropped.. he has been very poor but tonight he proved me wrong and he played how we all want him to play, and it helped having another striker up front
lets just all celebrate a great win
Think it was Waddle in commentary that said it looks like Saha arriving has put a rocket up his ar5e. If it keeps him going like that until for the next couple of months then fair play, thought he was outstanding today, non of the lazy touches of late, a real drive in everything he did
ginola on tv now.. legends of the prem league
I never suggested he should be dropped and yes he had a great game today but that does not mean he has not looked poor for a few games before today.
I am constantly surprised when fans crow about a player when he has a good game as if thats enough to forget that he has been poor for a few games.
Nope you are 100% right Ade is a fantastic player and no matter how badly he plays none of us should ever say anything but how great he is
this article is bang out of line.
i said drop ade (if we were playing 1 up top) as noone can deny he has looked lazy and uninterested.
that performance came out of nowhere.. and he clearly plays better with two up top, whether he partner saha or defoe.
ade was very good today and its about time. keep it up ade.
where does that leave rafa?

Dont worry Sandy obviously cant get any of the gooners to bite she he has turned on his own
me and sandy rarely conflict but i dont like this article
He's been absolute rubbish for weeks, how were we to know he'd suddenly find some enthusiasm again?!
Tellingly, Harry commented a lot on his confidence issues after the game. Almost none of us here are privy to that kind of behind-the-scenes info, we can only go by what we see on the pitch
The commentators sounded shocked throughout at his performance. They are much better informed than most of us are, so that tells you everything.

This article is certainly not supposed to be a wind up, it is that over the past few weeks, I have been reading a lot of articles and posts about dropping Ade, which I happen to think are bang out of order, sure he has not been banging them in week after week. But he has still been doing a thankless job up front on his own.
I think at least give him a bit of slack, and today proved what an asset he can be when it all clicks into place.
I am not saying for one moment he is above criticism like Grandspur is inferring, but please let`s try to support ALL the players that have put us in this wonderful position.
Harry thinks he is up to the task, and that is good enough for me.
I may have gone slightly over the top with the hanging their head in shame bit, and for that I apologise, and will change the wording of the original article to tone it down a bit.
sandy. fair enough
on a great 5-0 win
Chronic.
And as you rightly pointed out 5-0 was magnificent.
