Pay no heed to what other people think or say.
It's what LFC think that matters?
I think we dodged the bullet when we banned him ourself and didn't make a mockery of the anti racism campaign and boo a player that had been been a victim of racial abuse. To top it all of said racial abuser didn't then snub said racially abused in the pre match handshake...
But outside of that the situations are identical... good work Sherlock.
They need to sell Rio too!
And Roy Keane.
Oh, and Rooney.
Deluded number one pops up yet again. Yes of course missing a drug test is the same as racism, like missing a bus is no different from GBH.
Lets see your case then... I am waiting.
Misses the point, fergie was on about the incident having an effect that could cause a riot... Cantonas would have had a much higher propensity for such, yet fergie didn't think he was a disgrace and shouldn't at for his team again.
Hypocrite is the word that comes to mind.
I don't give a toss if man u did ban him, it wasn't as though it was an ambiguous even was it?
Also man utds ban for Cantona fell short of what the FA gave him so in the end was little more than a token gesture.

Suarez has shown himself to be a constant disgrace dragging LFC's name through the mud and lying about his intention to shake hands to his own manager, intentionally stirring up trouble in the match.
Not that I am excusing Cantona's actions but it was a heat of the moment thing and it was the only real stand out incident like it in his career. Suarez has shown himself capable of being a vile little person varying from racial abuse, biting people, cheating, diving at every opportunity and stoking the tensions when he could have calmed them instead.
With the Cantona incident it was over as quick as it happened, yes it could have spiralled into something more, but it did not unlike what happened in the tunnel at half time, practically a riot.
You miss the point. Cantona had a rush of blood, hearing a despicable moron abuse his mother, and reacted as a human being, wrongly but understandably.
Nothing like this case, and to try and pretend it is does you no favours and smacks of straw-clinging and justification of the unjustifiable.
You seemed to have conveniently overlooked the fact that Cantona kung-fu kicked that fan because he came charging down from his seat shouting racial comments at him as he was being sent off.
That's what Evra should have done to Sour-rez, and exactly what SAF has done to King Klanny, metephorically.

this is all you need to know
Stick and stones (and kung-fu kicks) may break my bones
But names will never hurt me.

So we should just go around racially abusing everyone and that should be acceptable... not surprising from a Suarez apologist.
so citing an act which was punished years ago justifies your players actions ?
This is simply irrelevant.
