Can't be bothered to go through the whole argument of whether this so called "abuse" is actually just criticism and happens at a lot of struggling clubs.
But seriously, are you actually trying to defend Kean's record? If we'd have won Allardyce's last game in charge, a game we dominated away at Bolton, we'd have gone 7th in the league. From that promising position of looking to at the very least match the 10th placed finish the season before, and with a squad of players more than capable of doing it, Kean managed to turn us into arguably the worst team in the league in a matter of weeks.
Picking up less than a point per game is unacceptable for any manager in any position. Kean barely managed to avoid that last season with 22 points from 21 games. He hasn't been anywhere near to achieving it at any time this season.
But seriously, are you actually trying to defend Kean's record?
-----------------------------
Yes, i am.
He kept you up last season. Doesn't matter where you were when he arrived; surival was the seasons target, and survival was achieved. Had Sam stayed the season would have taken a similar course.
This season Keans got the best out of a limited squad, and you're still in with a chance of survival. Bear in mind your best player is Yakubu, do you believe your squad should be higher up the league?
Deepspace, you have obviously deemed the protests as 'unacceptable' and your stance will not change.
I have not protested at the matches, for my own reasons, but I understand the position the protesters have taken, and to be honest, this club has put Blackburn on a town on the map. Do you think any other town would be as affected by relegation as much as the town of Blackburn would be?
Also, what you and the media forget, is this is not just a protest against Kean, it is against the Venky's also. Kean has been the face of the Venky's and spouted lie after lie to us fans. People were angry and with good reason. The club was looking to consolidate it's place in the top10 last year and now we are looking over our shoulders at relegation, which even if we do stay up, will be the case for the next few years. That is the fault of both the owners AND Kean. BSA was doing a great job with the same players, Kean was able to add to that squad and did even worse! Look at the whole picture rather than that which fit's your argument.
The question should not be 'Do Rover's have the worst supporters in the league?', but instead, 'Do Rovers supporters have to put up with the worst conditions in the league?'
(Hint: Awful Owners, No communication from owners, Awful manager - No clean sheets from the end of last season and ALL of this season, and a terrible point to game ratio; selling our best prospects; not sorting out the contracts of our best prospects and potentially losing them for free; alienating the experienced members of the squad into wanting to leave; losing key players from the squad; signing players who will never ever play for rover's due to outside influences; players not being able to play because they are 'injured' but really it is because they can't due to contract clauses; media hounding of fans; Jerome Anderson situation; lie's from the manager in every press conference; manager playing fans off against one another; I could go on...)
He kept you up last season. Doesn't matter where you were when he arrived; surival was the seasons target, and survival was achieved.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course it matters, we were doing so much better and Kean put us in the position of our aim being survival! We were looking to be a top10 team under SA! Our aim under BSA was to push on an improve on last season, we finished 10th by the way that season. That was the aim, to try and continue to improve, not collapse from a safe mid-table position, with a fearsome home record and great spirit to a team where our players want to leave and we stayed up by the skin of our teeth on the last day of the season!
Of course it matters where we were when he arrived! Our target wasn't survival in the slightest. Kean took over at a time when the club was upwardly mobile, and on the back of 18 months of fantastic work by Allardyce. Our target was to finish higher than the 10th we acheived the season before. You're obviously one of those fans who don't think clubs like Blackburn are allowed to be ambitious or have a realistic chance of successive top-half finishes. Well we managed 3 of them under Hughes and Allardyce managed 4 of them at Bolton, there was nothing at all stopping him from repeating the feat here.
Since he came in, Kean has spent £20m and signed 13 players. If our squad is limited then it is entirely his fault that thats the case. As for the Yakubu comment, whats that supposed to mean? Aside from 2 seasons at Everton recovering from a snapped achilles, Yakubu has been in the top 5-10 strikers in the PL over the last decade.
And yes we should be above where we are now. When you've got teams like Norwich and Swansea sitting pretty in mid-table/top half, its absolutely ludicrous that a club thats already been in this league for a decade should be 10-15 points behind them after only 24 games.
"Doesn't it prove my point though, that they don't behave like that to Coyle? They abused Megson because his face didn't fit, now you're doing the same with Kean. You didn't like him from the start, wheras most new managers are 'given a chance' by the fans"
Not at all!
Megson didn't have Bolton in the bottom 3 and he got dogs abuse, Coyle has them in the bottom 3 and isn't questioned. The only point that proves is that Noblot fans, like you, are stupid!
Feed the WUM and he will spout.
Do you think if idiotic genes were spotted during pregnancy scanes, people like deepspace wouldn't exist. Its a moral argument.
Or we can just deal in facts:
"Manchester United have finished top of a 'league of shame' for match-day arrests.
The champions had more fans held by police than any other team in the Premier League during last season – almost twice as many as second-placed Sunderland.
The figures, released by the Home Office show that the number of United supporters arrested rocketed from 165 in the 2009-10 season to 276 last year.
Some 117 fans were held at home games and 159 at away matches."
Only 4 teams in the top flight had a better record last season...
Deepspace you are a thick deluded **** just like our manager are you happy now you've proved your point about how nasty we are?
Now **** off and leave me to my wine.
why're Everton always mad
they're my personal rivals.
Take it from me OP the best fans on Ja606 are the Blackburn Fans.
You tarney far
I assume deepspace has read the facts and realised we are not the worst supporters, just the supporters who have some of the worst conditions in the league.
Or he is just rude and/or ignorant and won't admit he is wrong and apollogise

Is that really an excuse for the way you villify Kean?
Sure you're fighting relegation, as are four other clubs. And you don't like your owners, you aren't the only fans in that boat. This hardly justifies you acting like a lynch mob at games.
Pompey two years ago were in a worse position than you, i don't recall them abusing the manager in this way. Nor did Leeds many years ago, and they have some of the most horrible fans in the country. Both those clubs, like you, had inexperienced managers at the helm too.
The depths Blackburn fans have fallen to this season is unheard of in English football.
Is that really an excuse for the way you villify Kean?
=========================================
Having watched that video (after replacing the speakers that blew because I accidentally had it on full volume) I didn't really notice much vilification. Just a few boo's, Kean out's and the odd expletive.
Nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not what can be considered "unacceptable".
Deepspace
People have given you reams and reams of reasons of why as you put it, we have a 'lynchmob mentality' (one of the most absured suggestions ever heard, did you even watch that video you posted?), but you have chosen to ignore everything said and not even reply to it, or even acknowlege any of those points.
Instead you just keep picking and choosing points that fit your argument and disregard anyothers, which is fine, but it is obvious you have your mind made up. So what is the point in debating?

I ahve acknowledged why you're unhappy, and i acknowledge you're not having a good season and have an uncertain future.
I cannot see why that gives you the right to behave this way towards the manager. I can't think of anything a manager could do to deserve that kind of flak.
Maybe you'd rather appoint a club Messiah? Well Bolton have tried that and it's not working very well.
And the video i showed does show disgraceful levels of abuse, dont try and water it down. It took place throughout the game as well and you know it.
Deepspace. You're off your nutt
Thank you Voice
I wonder what the late Sir Jack Walker would think, if he saw what the Blackburn fans have become?
He'd be ashamed to be associated with these type of people.
