i think the fact that Wolves hadnt won a game till they played us, says more about us than it does about Wolves.
they played well against us (albeit we only had 10 men for most of the game, but whose fault was that? ).
i watched our game against Blackburn, first half was shocking, but we were better 2nd half ( well,we couldnt be any worse, could we?) and our players showed a bit of bottle, but sadly i dont think that will be enough to keep us up.
effectively its now 5 teams in the relegation scrap, and weve been beaten by two of them in a week,
it dont look good,
I'm starting to get a little worried now
Wolves beat us the moment Cisse ad a rush of blood and got himself sent off !! Up to that moment we were "crusin" Then we missed him against Blackburn as Zamora was on his own. We'll still stay up though starting with three points on Saturday. Fulham don't travel very well !!!
RRthedrum,
i dont want to sound pesimistic here, but we aint exactly known for our home wins this season.
at best, and i mean at very best, i think we could get a draw.
i think we have got to prepare for things not to turn out how we hoped, i dont want to use the "R" word here, but it is a distinct possibility now.
still,
CMON U Rssssssssssssssssssssss!
Ad hoops, maybe you don't want to sound pessimistic but you are. The balls not been kicked yet but your ready to settle for a draw !! Everything about the club is forward thinking, the owners, the board, a new manager and money for new players. Wot we need now is forward thinking fans, since when was Fulham at home a hard game ?? Relegation.......no way !!
RRthe drum,
i admire your optomism, and i think im more a realist than a pessimist.
i havent seen too much of late to suggest we will avoid relegation im afraid. we need points on the board and quickly if we are to avoid a swift return to the championship.
you say everything about the club is moving forward, and i quite agree, with one exception,
results.
without positive performances culminating in home and away wins, we, im sorry to say, have no future in the PL.
at the moment the best we can hope for in my view, is that 3 teams have more trouble collecting points than us, it would be their failure as opposed to our success that keeps us up.
sorry if that sounds negative, but thats just how i see things at this point in time.
