As chairman of the Club, every action I take will be in the interests of Rangers and there are many people working at the Club who are dedicated to making Rangers a success.
I would like to thank supporters for their great commitment to Rangers. This great football club can recover from the situation in which it now finds itself and be the force in football that the fans deserve.
feel like crying to be honest
Why apply to go into admin if he says it may not happen?
I dont get it all.
Reckon this is twin track approach.
Rattle the cages with the threat of admin, but also look at CVA, which would NOT mean points deduction, and would help restructure debt over longer term pay off / reduced amount.
CVA is our best option if the money has run out. The fact that he SAYS (and this does not mean will) he will invest more cash so long as HMRC don't get it, is ok, but what else can he say really.
Perhaps he should have said this day 1, or at least once he had got his feet under the desk.
If he manages to keep Rangers out of Admin, any bad feeling towards him from Rangers fans will surly vanish.

HMRC won't budge buddy...
Craig Whyte has made his money from companies that have went burst

Whyte's going into to Admin to protect HIS interests solely, ie...preferred creditor
Where the fek is the money he put in? What about: "If we win the tax case then, I will personally clear the £18m debt"?
i think i almost feel sorry for you.
Is that the proper statement ? As it said owners i thought rangers only had an owner
HMRC are after the precedent more than the cash. They want to have a court case win so they can turn their attention to the REAL cash cows in the EPL.
In any event, we can just wait & see how this plays out.
Best option - no CVA, no admin, no tax case debt (this is not realistic)
Next best - CVA, no admin, no tax case debt (hmm, maybe)
Next - no CVA, ADMIN, 10pts off, no tax case debt (ouch)
Next - no CVA, ADMIN, 10pts off, TAX CASE DEBT (= realistically either long admin and maybe ANOTHER 10pts next season, no Euro football & possible liquidation).
If Rangers do get into admin will they get demoted?
Statement is straight off Rangers website

cva will be the way to go and it would also force HMRC hand in accepting a lower amount Thats what this is all about
It is owned by shareholders, of which there are many. Whyte being the majority shareholder though puts him in charge.
