Qpr and Blackburn are the two teams with goals in them. They are the most dangerous threat. Yakubu and Zamora are far more dangerous then any of the others have to offer. For that they are the safe two and the others to drop

It really is a lottery ...Who would have predicted QPR would beat Chelsea? Or Blackburn would beat MU at OT? Or Wigan would win at Bolton? There's so many twists n' turns, it's impossible to predict .... and quite excitin' really, in a (panicky) way! Somebody will go down on the last day of the season, I'm sure .....Fingers crossed it's not us!

Anything can and probably will happen and we're all where we are due to a poor & inconsistent season.

If it was down to cold, hard cash, my money would go on the most experienced managers.

We're also the only team in the FA Cup.

Nightmare scenario is a draw at Millwall & a replay.

Most experienced managers? Thats Coyle and Hughes lol
Which is kind of crazy...

Can understand the points about other teams having more goals in them, but their defences are equally shambolic to ours, if not worse. We take Knight out and sudddenly ours is much better.

By this time next week though, it will be Hughes an A N Other at Wolves! Interestin' to see just who they appoint, and whether that ' feelgood factor ' of merely appointing any new manager gives them a big points boost ..... or not ....

I see no point in looking ahead at the remaining fixtures any more and trying to decide which matches are winnable. After last Saturday, if we lose at home to the bottom of the league, there are no winnable games.

Wolves depends on who they appoint.

Curbishley - they'll do enough to survive then fade.
Bruce - skin of teeth time
"Colin" Warnock - Bye!

Blackburn -

Yakubu's goals may dry up and he'll maybe lumber about a bit as he did for Everton. And they're more likely to lose 5-3 than win by that.

QPR -

Will probably end up scraping through then shoot up the league next season.

Wigan -

Will end up doing the same as what we have and follow a good win with a lot of defeats meaning doom.

Us -

Lord knows. We've won the most games down there but have lost more. I've given up with trying to figure us out now after the last two matches. But the lucky thing is we're not a million points away like we would've been in previous seasons with our current total.

And hey lets not rule Villa out shall we. We're only 7 points behind.

I think Villa are out of our reach TBH, as 7 points is a big gulf if you're only averaging a point a game. In the 2nd half of this season, we're averagin' just slightly over a point a game (which is better than our average for the season as a whole so far). Given Villa have a vastly superior goals difference, it could take us 7 games to overtake Villa - and that's assuming they get no points at all in the next 7 games - so that looks unlikely?
