Murray will never be back.

He was glad to sell us.

Explain his appearance at Murray park then?

there is defintely something in the offing but i don't think murray should be allowed anywhere near our club again. without doubt whyte knew this was going to take place well before he finished his due dilligence. he is just about within the realms of the law and i am afraid that is the kind of man this job needed. lets hope his negotiating skills within the business world are good enough to get us through this measured mess.

Here's the scenario:

David Murray messed up at Rangers to such an extent he couldn't find a buyer. The only option was administration but outwith the control of MIH. He gets in a guy to guide Rangers through the admin process, which it looks more and more like that's what Whyte's sole role is, picks up the pieces then sells of Rangers.

Does this seem possible?

Visiting the Doc, catching up with old pals, who knows.

But I'll tell you this - SDM is married to the ex wife of a guy I work with's relative.

The guy meets him regularly as SDM is now like a step father to the guys kids.

He was glad to get shot of the Gers - he was haemorrhaging money left, right and centre...

why else do you think murray was there,do you think he went their to say to whyte, haw whyte if we win the tax case al buy rangers back aff ye for £1.50,thats a 50% profit ya dobber, howz about it?

Athiest it seems to me that Whyte just ain't a football man. He's a high risk dodgy businessman who doesn't hang onto companies for long and doesn't give a $h!te about his reputation

More credible than the red tops that's for sure.

Guy on our bus also is an accountant who works out of one of SDMs offices in Edinburgh.

He's not coming back...

there is no way anyone would have been so stupid as to have a due diligence period that at the time was criticised as being one of the longest ever and not noticing that admin was not on the cards> he knew from day one and whether it is murray, mccoll or whyte himself the club will emerge from this and go on to have a better standing. yes it is unsavoury but we are always told football is a business and this is one of "THE" big decisions to take in business. Oh and how funny would it be if celtic won the league by less them ten points!

rats juice

If Whyte dumped us and ran off with millions, where could he live? He'd be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life.

posted on 13/2/12

It is part of the purchase agreement that if Whyte did not live up to all of his promises in the purchase agreement, SDM COULD, repeat COULD choose to bring the deal back in.

Whether he would want to, which would be incredibly messy, is another matter.

Let's hear yours then....

I always take what I hear with a pinch of salt but 'rumour guy' aside

Why on earth would he come back?

He's a jammy b - whytie is carrying the can for his mistakes....

He'd need to be a maso chist to return.

there is not a cave on this earth that mr whyte could hide if he was going to take his money and run. i think he might just emerge as the leader we need. this is now about hard and unpleasant business and this is his comfort zone. i am right behind him, ally and our players.

That's my thinking, Ally. He can't treat Rangers as just another business. 2-3 hard years in front of us, but we will come through it and be stronger.
