Moussi and Earnshaw

Like yourself I have only watched about a dozen games this year.
On Earnshaw he is a player that needs to be playing week in week out to get the best out of him ... with BD striker rotation he was never going to get the best out of Earnshaw. If we intend to play him most weeks then yes keep him but if Findley is going to be the main man as alot are predicting then probably not. As for Moussi he always seems to be rushed back from injury probably because of the form/fitness of McKenna. Again when he is fit and playing he is a completely different player.

For me keep Moussi and let Earnshaw go.

Think you're wrong about Earnie needing so many chances. In my opinion he's the most dangerous finisher we have and would certainly be the one I'd want on the end if we were only to create one chance. His problem is more is his all round game other than finishing. I think he had a bad year last season but did more work than usual. Maybe he'd have been better left to his usual game and didn't fit in the Davies' work ethic?

Moussi can be great but equally poor at times and is often unfit. I don't want him to go and am not surprised at the likes of Wigan and Everton chasing him. If we had a bigger squad he'd possibly do better. He was dead on his feet v Reading in his first game back and looked like he needed putting down. I'm amazed he played another game let alone most of them after that!

I think SM should do everything within his power to retain the services of Guy Moussi. Yes, he has had some injury problems and takes time to get back to form (who doesn't?), but if you can keep him fit he is a different class. He is a player that you really don't want to play against, he is strong, wins possession, has good distribution and a fantastic engine. For me, on his day, he is the best defensive midfielder in the championship.

With regards to Earnie, I'm in 2 minds. He is a great talent, fantastic movement. He is though extremely injury prone and the wrong side of 30. He has high wage demands for a player who will only play 15-20 games a season. Perhaps it would be better to get someone young and new in, like Maynard who will guarantee you goals.

i cant stand hearing "good engine" i remember kenny burns laughing at a caller on 106 phone in for saying it,its the worse saying i ever heard in football.it makes me cringe when i hear paul merson say it,he says it to describe every player.why not just say he is fit?as all footballers should be.

another pet hate in football is when players do that cross thingy when they come on.if there was sutch thing as a god "im not stupid enough to belive there is" would it not be cheating when they ask for help?just think if god was real, how can the team that preys loose? if this god can make bushes talk, make you walk on water, raise the dead, fill a boat with 4million animals ect then a couple of goals would be a doddle for him!!!

I think they are both needed and both need to stay. We need to add to the squad and not lose key players.
We should be having 2 players for every position.
Obviously if wages are an obstruction then.....
